MAUMEE - The Home Builders Association of Greater Toledo will host a Home Renovation Showcase on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission to the showcase is free.
"After years of success with the Parade of Homes and House & Home Show, we felt it was time to add a new event and spotlight our remodeling contractors," said Bill Brennan, the HBA's executive vice president.
"We hope the public will embrace this new event as it continues to grow year after year."
The Home Renovation Showcase features five projects this year; a whole home remodel including a new kitchen and living room, a master bathroom makeover, a complete home addition, a basement bar and a backyard oasis.
Visitors will be able to tour these homes and speak directly to a representative from the remodeling company for each project.
The homes are located throughout Northwest Ohio.
Included in the showcase is a basement bar transformation at 17738 W. River Road, Bowling Green.
Photos and directions to each home can be found at www.toledohba.com.
The Home Builders Association of Greater Toledo, founded in 1939, protects, promotes and serves its members through education, community service and legislative involvement. The HBA is comprised of approximately 300 building industry professionals.
