Walker finishes tied for 55th at state golf; Perrysburg girls place 12th (10-19-13) PDF Print E-mail

COLUMBUS — Bowling Green’s Trey Walker shot an 88 Saturday to finish with a 177 total in the Division I boys state high school golf tournament at Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course.
The junior finished in a two-way tie for 55th place.
Dublin Coffman senior Nick Sparling made it back-to-back state championships with a 4-over-par 146 total, including a 76 Saturday.
In the girls tournament, Perrysburg finished 12th with a 747 total at OSU’s Gray Course.
Dublin Jerome won the 12-team tournament for the second straight season with a 622 total.
Perrysburg’s scores were: Monica Dorner, tied for 44th, 87—174; Katie Diehl, 65th, 96—189; Madison Williams, 69th, 93—193; Macy Tudor, 71st, 106—198; and Sonia Krolak, 72nd, 99—202.
Dorner is a senior, while Diehl, Williams, Tudor and Krolak are sophomores.
