Ten individuals from Wood County high schools won sectional
championships Saturday.The top four finishers in each weight class in all three divisions advanced to next
weekend’s district tournament, with Division I at Cleveland State, and Division II and III at the Stroh
Center.Following is a roundup of the sectional results for the county schools:DIVISION IAt ClayPerrysburg
finished second with 257 points.The Yellow Jackets had four district champions — Mario Guillen (106 pounds),
Ryan Roth (145), Rocco Caywood (170) and Mark Delas (220).Perrysburg had five second-place finishers — Alec
Herhold (132), J.P. Newton (152), Kaden Llewellyn (182), Brady Clayton (195) and Cale Bonner (285). Brock
Jones (113) and Walt Waltermyer (160) placed third for Perrysburg.

DIVISION IIAt Stroh CenterEastwood finished fourth with 139 points, while Rossford was ninth
with 81 1/2 and Bowling Green was 10th with 77.Rossford’s C.J. Ball won a championship at 120 pounds.
Rossford’s other district qualifier was Kyle Robbins at 285.Eastwood had five district qualfiers Randy Caris
(170) was second, while Kyle Patterson (182) was third. Eastwood had three fourth-place finishers — Brad
Radabaugh (152), Adam Wolf (195) and Joe Nauman (220).BG had one district qualifier, Dallas Duron (113), who
was third.DIVISION IIIAt ElmwoodLake had eight district qualifiers and finished second with 164 1/2
points.Otsego was fourth with 123 1/2 points, while Elmwood was fifth with 109, Lakota was sixth with 79,
North Baltimore was ninth with 58 and Northwood was 10th with 55.Lake’s Chris Salaz won a sectional
championship at 138.The Flyers also had three second-place and three third-place finishers.Damon Keister
(106), Zach Meek (152) and Robert Cruz (170) were second for Lake.Matt Church (113), Marcel Bryan (145) and
Jacob Hankish (285) were third for Lake.Lake’s Adkins (220) was fourth.NB’s Dalton Ishmael was first at 195.
Also for the Tigers, Brice Bankey (285) was second and David Bankey (220) was third.Otsego had three
champions — Buddy Limes (120), Trenton Soto (126) and Jordan Hendrix (160). Austin Glosser (138), David
Glenn (152) and Collin Kitchen (170) were third.Elmwood’s Michael Baer (145) and Devin Uzelac (220) finished
second. The Royals had four fourth-place finishers — Dylan Benschoter (126), Brik Dauterman (132), Dylan
Hall (138) and Alex Jasso (152).Lakota’s Tiger Jaso (160) was third, while Jordan Jaso (145) and Bobby
Arriaga (170) both finished fourth.For Northwood, Brandon Kretz (126) was second, Devon Dunbar (106) was
third and Jonny Wheeler (120) was fourth.
