Perrysburg-Rossford boys basketball schedule throwback game
The Rossford-Perrysburg boys basketball game Saturday will be played at the Perrysburg Junior High School. The two schools have been playing each other for the past 50 years.
The throwback game will honor past players and coaches from both teams.
Perrysburg head coach Dave Boyce will be joined by past basketball coaches, including Doc Thomas, Keith Limes, Larry Clark, Dave Froelich, Larry Asmus, John Henline and Ted Barnes. Rossford head coach Brian Vorst will be joined by Mike Heck, Joe Stalma and Chuck Cox.
There will be a reception after the junior varsity game in the junior high cafeteria for the basketball alumni from both schools.
The junior varsity game is set to start at approximately 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.
Any former players or coaches should contact their respective high school athletics department for more information.
Tickets will be sold for the game on Thursday and Friday between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the athletics office at Perrysburg High School. Adults are $6 and students are $5.

BG women get one vote
The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team, 7-1 overall, received one vote in the Associated Press coaches poll.
