Otsego and Eastwood both had second-place finishes Saturday during cross country action.
Otsego was the runnerup in the Myron Cline Invitational at Eells Park in Bettsville.
Eastwood was second in the Ottawa-Glandorf Invitational at Ottawa Memorial Park.
Perrysburg girls finish first
Perrysburg's girls cross country team won the Chet Sullwold Invitational Saturday at Ottawa Park.
The Yellow Jackets had five runners in the top 10 and won the nine-team meet with 23 points. Bowling Green was third with 96.
Perrysburg's Taylor Monheim was the individual winner in 18:42, beating runnerup and teammate Courtney Clody by 21 seconds.
Completing Perrysburg's top five were: Katie Menke, fourth, 19:16; Jordan Doore, seventh, 19:36; and Emily Henry, ninth, 19:38.
BG's top five were: Sasha Lanning, eighth, 19:36; Jessi Patton, 11th, 19:54; Jenna Schroeder, 20th, 20:31; Mallory Glenn, 30th, 21:30; and Natalie Applegate, 31st, 21:37.

Otsego places second
Otsego had 52 points in the 10-team meet.
Also from Wood County, Lake was third with 77 and Rossford was 10th with 276.
Four county runners finished in the top 10 -¬†Brandon Avers of Lake was second in 15:57, Tyler Rickman of Lake was third in 16:04 and teammate Scott Brittenham was seventh in 16:53, and Seth Harnishfeger of Otsego was eighth in 16:58.
Completing Otsego's top five were Derek Morgan, 14th, 17:19; Jordy Ghesquiere, 18th, 17:31; and Tyler Harroun, 19th, 17:37.
Completing Lake's top five were: Orfrancis Ozuna, 16th, 17:24; Nick Walters, 25th, 17:58; and Aaron Witt, 34th, 18:27.
Rossford's top five were: Taylor Smale, 29th, 18:25; Nolan York, 53rd, 18:55; Harrison Fink, 106th, 23:45; Martin Linthicum, 110th, 24:09; and Mat Meyers, 112th, 24:26.
In the 19-team Division III race, Elmwood was third with 123.
Also from the county, Lakota was 10th with 259 and North Baltimore was 16th with 453.
Elmwood's Cheyne Jenkins was seventh in 17:14.
Completing Elmwood's top five were: Andrew Jasso, 12th, 17:25; Josh Mathias, 13th, 17:28; Chris Goodwich, 30th, 17:58; and Matthew Wagner, 62nd, 18:59.
Lakota's top five were: Luke Baker, 23rd, 17:40; Caleb Tolento, 39th, 18:18; Matthew Steiner, 56th, 18:54; Isaac Ritter, 72nd, 19:17; and Brant Shank, 96th, 20:01.
NB's top five were: Tyler Stimmel, 79th, 19:33; A.J. Hotaling, 85th, 19:46; Nathan Flores, 93rd, 19:57; Tanner Gray-Duvall, 114th, 20:28; and Caleb Swope, 130th, 21:00.
Eastwood finishes second
Eastwood was second in its 17-team meet with 81 points.
The Eagles' Tim Hoodlebrink was third in 16:22.
Completing Eastwood's top five were: Gabe Fredericks, 11th, 17:05; Noah Smith, 14th, 17:11; Sam Church, 18th, 17:22; and Josh Bierley, 36th, 18:08.

BG places fourth
At Ottawa Park in Toledo, Bowling Green had 100 points to finish fourth in the eight-team meet.
BG's top five were: Lucas Overmyer, ninth, 17:03; Michael Shilling, 16th, 17:23; Bret Horn, 18th, 17:27; Mitchell Gardner, 29th, 17:46; and Jack Amburgey, 30th, 17:46.
Perrysburg finishes 15th
At Amann's Resevoir in Galion, Perrysburg had 384 points to finish 15th in the 33-team meet.
Perrysburg's top five were: Andrew Bayes, 26th, 16:16; Bobby Borger, 75th, 17:00; Anthony Glorioso, 85th, 17:07; Parker Calvin, 95th, 17:15; and Matt Studer, 103rd, 17:21.
Perrysburg won the Toledo Central Catholic Irish Invitational Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets, 10-2 overall, beat Tiffin Columbian, Anthony Wayne and Central Catholic on the way to the title.
In the 25-17, 27-29, 25-17 win over Central Catholic in the final, Perrysburg's leaders were: Audra Appold, 15 kills, 15 digs, two aces; Savannah Miller, 13 kills, six digs; Graesyn Pawlak, 14 digs; and Chloe Matuga, 30 assists.
BGHS beats Rossford
In Rossford, Bowling Green was a 25-22, 25-16, 25-16 winner over the Bulldogs in a nonleague match.
BG's leaders were: Tyanna Smith, nine kills; Mackenzie Dunn, 20 assists; Hanna Williford, 15 digs; and Rachel Clark, four aces.
Rossford's leaders were: Karly Durco, 10 digs; Julie Hotz, five kills, 14 digs; Maggie Leahy, nine kills, 13 digs; and Margo Jackson seven digs.
Elmwood wins twice
In Jerry City, Elmwood beat Fostoria St. Wendelin (25-16, 25-15) and Van Buren (25-8, 25-5) in nonleague matches.
Against VB, Elmwood's leaders were: Amanda Jones, 20 assists; Madison Arnold, four kills; Marissa Swavel, eight digs; Jasmine Marsh, nine kills; Ashley Veryser, six kills; and Sarah Williams, seven digs.
Elmwood's leaders against St. Wendelin were not available.
BG finishes second
At Napoleon Municipal Golf Course, Bowling Green shot a 315 to finish second in the 10-team Napoleon Invitational.
Also from Wood County, Rossford was sixth with 338, Eastwood was ninth with 351 and Perrysburg was 10th with 375.
BG's Tyler Remeis was second with a 74. BG's other scores were: Trey Walker, 78; Tad McKanna, 81; and Alex Noble, 82.
Rossford's scores were: Ryan Niese, 78; Mason Robinson, 82; Chris Shaffer, 86; Jackson Murphree, 91.
Eastwood's scores were: Steven Bruning, 82; Nick Coffman, David Krukemyer, 86 each; and Kyle Waynick, 96.
Perrysburg's scores were: Mitchel Skotynsky, 89; Ryan Piece, 90; Ronnie Stough, 97; and Lain Steyer, 99.
Eastwood 7, Otsego 0
In Luckey, Kaleigh Obrock had two goals and one assist, and Kortni Montag had one goal and one assist as Eastwood won a Northern Buckeye Conference match.
Reagan Boice, Kat Przybylski, Dani Bruning and Maddie Wilson also scored for Eastwood. Courtney Niswander and Allie Bruning each had one assist.
Eastwood's Alex Brockschmidt and Kelsie Cancelliere each had two saves.
Perrysburg 4, Bishop Fenwick 0
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets improved to 3-1-2 with the nonleague win.
Allex Brown, Josie Fowler, Erika Joldrichsen, and Beth Glowacki scored goals for Perrysburg.
BGHS 2, Bryan 1
Bowling Green scored twice in the second half to overcome a 1-0 deficit and improve to 7-3 overall with a nonleague win.
Clark Mayberry scored to break a 1-1 tie after BG's Chance Bailey tied the game.
Josiah Nichols assisted on Mayberry's goal and Brian LeGalley assisted on Bailey's goal.
BG's Zach DeSola had two saves.
Rossford 8, Lake 1
In Rossford, Aguirre had three goals and Desmond added two in the Bulldogs' NBC win.
Hotz, Austin and Karavas also scored for Rossford.
Corey Pierce had Lake's goal, assisted by Jeremy Likes. The Flyers are 1-7-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the NBC.
Northview 5, BGHS 0
Northview blanked Bowling Green in a Northern Lakes League match.
Junior varsity results
Bowling Green beat Rossford, 25-19, 25-17. BG's leaders were: Stephanie Hermes, eight kills; Maggie Vennis, 10 digs, 16 assists; and Harper Craft, two aces.
