COLUMBUS - Two players from Wood County high schools have earned first-team All-Ohio baseball honors in voting by the coaches.
Perrysburg's Hunter Smith and Elmwood's Jeff Vanscoder were outfield selections in Division I and Division III, respectively.
Smith hit .344 for the Yellow Jackets with seven home runs, 25 RBI, 38 runs scored and 13 stolen bases.
Vanscoder hit .507 for the Royals with 29 RBI, 29 runs scored, one home run and seven stolen bases.
