PERRYSBURG — Wrestling has opened a career path for Rocco Caywood.
Caywood, a senior at Perrysburg High School and a state champion, signed his national letter of intent Thursday to attend the U.S. Military Academy to continue his academic and wrestling careers. He will be on a full scholarship.
‘‘He made the right choice in where he’s going, and what he’s doing,’’ said Sam Cotterman, Perrysburg’s head wrestling coach. ‘‘He’s looking at the next 30 years of his life, not just the next four or five.’’
