Lake’s football team still is enhancing its already impressive résumé.
The Flyers’ latest achievement saw them represented on the Division IV All-Ohio team announced Tuesday night.
Lake coach Mark Emans was named the co-coach of the year, and three of his players were named to the team.
Junior defensive back Jared Rettig was named to the second-team defense, and senior Nick Walsh and sophomore Adam Duncan received special mention.  DIVISION III-IV-V ALL-OHIO LISTS
The Flyers were 8-3 overall and 5-2 in the Northern Buckeye Conference during Emans’  first season after going 4-6, 3-4 in 2012.
Lake also advanced to the state playoffs where it lost to fourth-ranked Caledonia River Valley in the first round.
The Flyers’ other losses were to Genoa and Eastwood, the top two teams in the NBC. Eastwood and Genoa were state-ranked and advanced to the playoffs.

Perrysburg-Rossford boys basketball schedule throwback game
The Rossford-Perrysburg boys basketball game Saturday will be played at the Perrysburg Junior High School. The two schools have been playing each other for the past 50 years.
The throwback game will honor past players and coaches from both teams.
Perrysburg head coach Dave Boyce will be joined by past basketball coaches, including Doc Thomas, Keith Limes, Larry Clark, Dave Froelich, Larry Asmus, John Henline and Ted Barnes. Rossford head coach Brian Vorst will be joined by Mike Heck, Joe Stalma and Chuck Cox.
There will be a reception after the junior varsity game in the junior high cafeteria for the basketball alumni from both schools.

Abby Hesselschwardt scored 16 points to help Otsego down Lakota, 48-17 in a nonleague girls game Monday.
In other girls games, it was: Clay 61, Lake 27; Genoa 79, Northwood 35; and North Baltimore 61, Lima Perry 43.
In a nonleague boys game, it was: Holgate 90, North Baltimore 72.

Otsego 48, Lakota 17
In Kansas, Otsego opened the game with 15 points in the first quarter and went on to post the nonleague win.
In addition to Hesselschwardt's 16 points, Morgan Smoyer scored 13 points for the Knights.
Paige Alloway led Lakota with six points.
Otsego is 2-2 and Lakota is 1-2.
