HOLLAND — Call it a lack of preparedness by one team or call it domination by the other.
Call it whatever you want.
The biggest Northern Lakes League game to date did not go as anyone planned.
A game between the league’s top two teams likely should have been a game to go down to the wire.
Instead, Perrysburg turned in its best performance of the season Tuesday and obliterated the Blue Devils, 71-42, on their home court.
The win gave the 11th-ranked Yellow Jackets sole possession of first place in the NLL at 13-1, 7-1, while Springfield is 8-4, 5-2.

TOLEDO — Maybe it was one quirky play, or maybe it was a culmination of mistakes that cost Perrysburg’s girls a win Saturday night at Toledo Central Catholic.
Either way, the Yellow Jackets, ranked 12th in Division I, struggled at inopportune times leading to a 50-49 overtime loss to the Fighting Irish.
Perrysburg committed 17 turnovers in the loss, none more costly than an unforced turnover with just over two minutes to play in overtime.
