MAUMEE — Perrysburg’s boys basketball team had its inside-out game rolling Friday in a 66-49 Northern Lakes League win over arch-rival Maumee.
The Yellow Jackets forced seven first-quarter turnovers when they jumped a 10-0 lead to begin the game. They never trailed the rest of the game.  PHOTO GALLERY
Jumping out to an early lead on the road, “is big, because it helps take the crowd out of it a little bit,” said Perrysburg coach Dave Boyce.
Perrysburg, ranked ninth Division I, remained in first place in the NLL at 14-1, 8-1. Maumee dropped to 3-12, 2-7.
The ’Jackets had three players in double-figures: Nick Moschetti, 23 points, nine rebounds; Matt Kaczinski, 12 points; Matt Mesker, 10 points.
Maumee double-and triple-teamed Perrysburg’s post players, but the ’Jackets kicked the ball out to the perimeter.
