FOSTORIA — For Perrysburg’s girls basketball team to make another tournament run, there is no doubt it will need to improve upon its Wednesday night performance against Marion Harding. PHOTO GALLERY
The sixth-ranked Yellow Jackets showed flashes of brilliance in their 67-24 Division I sectional semifinal win over the Presidents at Fostoria High School. But they also showed signs of complacency, leading to an early scare.
“Once we got into a little bit of a rhythm we played pretty well at times, for most of the game,” Perrysburg coach Todd Sims said.
Perrysburg, 20-3 overall, will play Clay in a sectional final on Saturday night at Fostoria. Tipoff is at 8 p.m.
