GIRLS SECTIONAL BASKETBALL DIVISON II Rossford 60, Toledo Woodward 34 In Toledo, Courtney Morris paced Rossford with 17 points in a sectional final win over Toledo Woodward. Rossford, 13-10 overall, did not allow the Polar Bears to score in double digits in any quarter. Alaina Mitchell and Margo Jackson added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bulldogs. K’Shawna Barnett scored 19 points for Woodward. Rossford will play Port Clinton on Thursday at Lake High School at 8 p.m. in the district semifinals. Clyde 79, Eastwood 16 In Fostoria, top-ranked Clyde had three players in double figures and 12 different players score in its sectional final game against Eastwood. Amanda Cahill led the Fliers with 19 points. The Eagles trailed 49-5 at halftime and 68-7 after three quarters. Mackenzie Albright, Stephanie Dippman and Presley Weaver scored four points each for Eastwood, which finished its season 6-16 overall. Clyde is 23-0. DIVISION III Genoa 63, Lake 42 In Luckey, Genoa out-scored Lake 38-26 in the second half to post the sectional final victory. Jordyn Taylor was the only player to score in double digits for the Flyers with 11 points. Lake ends its season at 13-11. Ciara Albright paced Genoa with a game-high 26 points. Woodmore 43, Lakota 31 In Luckey, despite a 16-point outburst in the second quarter by Lakota, Woodmore slipped away with the sectional final win. Lakota out-scored the Wildcats 16-15 in the second quarter but it was limited to single digits in every other quarter. Katie Park led the Raiders, 4-19 overall, with 11 points.
