BG finishes second
BG totaled 103.5 points to finish behind Fremont Ross with 125 in the seven-team meet. Lake was seventh
with 44.
BG’s Maria Horrigan cleared 11-3 to win the high jump, breaking her meet record of 11-0 set last year.

The Bobcats won three relays.
The 400 team of Cassidy Williford, Rachel Miller, Brittany Lowe and Horrigan won in 52.87.
The 800 team of Williford, Jessi Patton, Lowe and Horrigan won in 1:51.71.
The 3,200 team of Natalie Applegate, Sasha Lanning, Taylour Aungst and Morgan Akenberger won in 10:20.19.

Lake’s Sara Dabney won the high jump (4-10).
Elmwood finishes third
Elmwood’s girls finished third in the Van Buren Invitational.
The Royals totaled 107 points in the eight-team meet to finish behind Carey with 149.5 and Van Buren with
128.5.
North Baltimore was sixth with 69.
Elmwood had six second-place finishes — Emma Krassow in the 800 (2:48.10) and 1,600 (6:09.58), Madison
Sears in the 400 (63.48), Amanda Jones in the 300 hurdles (18.47), and Katie Dewey in the shot put
(30-10) and the discus (112-0).
NB’s Megan Ernsberger swept the hurdles, winning the 100s in 18.07 and the 300s in 54.23.
BOYS
BG takes fourth
Bowling Green finished fourth with 63 points and Lake was fifth with 56 in the eight-team Bobcat
Invitational.
Lake’s Brandyn Neal won the 400 (52.51).
BG had four second-place finishes.
Sam Panter was the runnerup in both hurdles races, posting a time of 16.43 in the 110s and 43.07 in the
300s.
Nick Lane was second in the shot put (44-111?2 ) and the discus (132-10).
Elmwood wins Van Buren Invitational
Aaron Arnold set meet records in the long jump and the triple jump to help Elmwood win the eight-team Van
Buren Invitational.
Elmwood won with 179, 66 ahead of runnerup Arlington. NB was sixth with 65.
Arnold went 20-6 to win the long jump and break the record of 20-1?2 set by Elmwood’s C.J. Allums set in
2008.
He went 41-61?2 to win the triple jump and break the record of 39-23?4 set by Elmwood’s Thor Bottesch in
2008.
Other winners for Elmwood were: Andrew Jasso, 800, 2:11.93; C.J. Jenkins, 1,600, 5:03.05; and the 1,600
relay team of Jace Grossman, Arnold, Zachary Hocker and Austin Jasso, 3:42.75.
NB had three third-place finishes — Christian Richmond in the 100 (12.05), A.J. Hotaling in the pole
vault (8-6) and Jacob Dick in the discus (125-1)

Eastwood scored 129 points to win the Woodmore Invitational. Otsego was seventh with 20.
Eastwood’s winners were: Billy Barker, 1,600 (5:24.20, meet record), 800 (2:20.70); Isaac Emahiser, 400
(58.00, meet record), 200 (24.90, meet record); Antonio Salinas, 200 hurdles (27.60); Dalton Andrews,
discus (116-1).
Emahiser was named the meet’s outstanding performer.
GIRLS
Eastwood scored 85.5 points to win the Woodmore Invitational. Otsego was third with 55.
Eastwood’s winners were: Katelyn Meyer, 100 hurdles (17.30, meet record), long jump (15-1?2, meet
record); Abby Schroeder, 200 hurdles (31.70, meet record); the 1,600 relay team of Jordan Davidson,
Schroeder, Amaya Molina and Jonna Nissen (4:35.50, meet record);
Otsego’s Zion Richardson won the 100 (13.00, meet record) and the 200 (27.90, meet record), and teammate
Kenzie Wilson won the high jump (4-8, meet record).
Meyer was named the meet’s outstanding performer.
