Rossford boys keep title hopes alive
Rossford’s boys basketball team kept its hopes for a share of the Northern Buckeye Conference title alive
with a 50-48 win over Eastwood Wednesday night.
In a Division IV girls sectional game it was Cardinal Stritch 39, Lakota 32, and in a Division I game it
was Perrysburg 67, Marion Harding 24..

BOYS
Rossford 50, Eastwood 48
In Luckey, Rossford held a 41-25 lead after three quarters, out-lasting a 23-9 fourth-quarter advantage
for Eastwood.
Brian Burks led the Bulldogs (14-4, 11-2) with 15 points, while Mack Miller added 13.
Jake Schmeltz led Eastwood (15-6, 9-4) with 22 points, including four 3-pointers.

In Genoa, Cardinal Stritch used an 11-2 third-quarter advantage to take control of the Division IV
sectional game.
Katie Park led Lakota (4-17) with 12 points.

Elmwood beat Genoa, 38-17. Austin Moses, Zach Weiss and Clay Stearns led Elmwood.
Lake beat Fostoria, 50-30. Blake Osborn led the Flyers with 17 points, and Dylan O’Quinn added 11.
SEVENTH GRADE
BASKETBALL
Fostoria defeated Lake, 45-39. Jase Bowen led the Flyers with 13 points.

Bowling Green beat Sylvania Timberstone, 26-24. BG’s Holly Roe hit the game-winner with one second left.
Alexis Kisor led BG with 11 points.
