Jacob Rettig’s 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds remaining helped Lake to a 52-49 Northern Buckeye Conference win over Eastwood.
In other boys games, it was: Rossford 53, Otsego 31; Springfield 65, Bowling Green 48; Woodmore 57, Elmwood 54; Lakota 52, Mohawk 50; and North Baltimore 96, Bettsville 12.
In a girls game, it was: Northwood 44, Maumee Valley Country Day 22.

BASKETBALL
BOYS
Lake 52, Eastwood 49
In Millbury, Rettig’s late triple put the Flyers up 51-49, for the NBC win.
Connor Bowen led all scorers with 23 points and Brandyn Neal added 13 for Lake (4-0, 2-0).
Eastwood’s Jake Schmeltz scored 18 points and Grant Peters chipped in with 12.
Eastwood is 1-3, 0-2.

Woodmore 57, Elmwood 54
In Elmore, Woodmore (1-3, 1-0) held a 31-24 halftime lead and held on for a NBC win.
Woodmore’s Sean Mullin had 17 points, while Drew Lewandowski added 13.
Aaron Arnold led all scorers with 18 points and Trevor Solether had 10 for Elmwood (0-3, 0-2).

Lakota 52, Mohawk 50
In Kansas, Lakota (2-3, 2-1) trailed 31-19 at halftime, but outscored Mohawk 33-19 in the second half to earn a Midland Athletic League win.
Lakota’s Josh Kirkpatrick had 18 points, while Colin Timmons added 13 and Kyle Below chipped in with 12.
Mohawk is 0-2.

North Baltimore 96, Bettsville 12
In North Baltimore, North Baltimore (2-3, 1-1) held a 60-4 halftime lead in the nonleague win.
North Baltimore’s Chad Wright led with 16 points, while Tyler Trumbull had 15 and Jacob Frost added 14.

GIRLS
Northwood 44, Maumee Valley 22
In Northwood, Northwood jumped out to a 20-10 halftime lead en route to a Toledo Area Athletic Conference victory.
Lissy Wojcinski led Northwood (1-3, 1-1) with 10 points.
Maumee Valley is 0-2, 0-2.
