A hole-in-one by Bowling Green’s Tyler Remeis set the tone for the Bobcats’ boys golf team in a dual match against Northern Lakes League rival, Perrysburg Tuesday afternoon.
Remeis aced the 132-yard fourth hole at Belmont Country Club in BG’s 166-186 win.
Remeis was the medalist with a 1-under-par 35.
Also scoring for BG were: Trey Walker and Alex Noble, 43; and Aaron Crawford, 45.
Blake Harves led Perrysburg with a 43, while Lain Seyer shot 46, Mitchel Skotynsky shot 48 and Ronnie Stough shot 49.

Ottawa Hills 147,
Lake 159, Otsego 216
In Curtice, Lake was second and Otsego was third in a tri-meet at Chippewa Golf Course.
Scorers for Lake were: Ian Johnson, 38; Michael Kranz, 39; Lucas Zeh, 40; and Owen Johnson 42.
Otsego's scorers were: Sam Dunmyer, 48; Tony Pasty, 50; and Colin Bigenhoe and Tanner Greenhagen, 59.

Northwood 205,
Emmanuel Christian 242
In Oak Harbor, Northwood defeated Emmanuel Christian in a Toledo Area Athletic Conference dual match.
Dustin Sigurdon's medalist round of 46 paced the Rangers. Other scorers for Northwood were Dennis Danko and Shelby Smith, 52 each, and Dylan Makowski with a 55.

Van Buren 175,
North Baltimore 193
In North Baltimore, Van Buren bested the Tigers at Birch Run.
Rachel Peters led the Tigers with a 39, sharing medalist honors with Carlee Schmelzer of Van Buren.
Other scorers for NB were: Lindsay Davis, 49; Morgan Rose 52; and Kelcie Bean, 53.

Elmwood wins
In Fremont, Elmwood opened its season with a 25-11, 25-20, 24-14 win over St. Joseph.
Elmwood's leaders were: Madison Arnold, 19 kills, three blocks; Amanda Jones, 35 assists; Jasmine Marsh, seven kills; and Marissa Swavel, 14 digs, two aces.

Northwood 4,
Toledo Whitmer 1
In Toledo, Allison Roach scored two goals and had an assist and Leeza Bowers contributed three assists as Northwood improved to 1-0-1 with a nonleague win.
Doma Cruz and Alex Rable each added a goal for Northwood and teammate Toni Tristan made 14 saves.

Liberty-Benton 8,
Eastwood 1
In Luckey, Liberty-Benton took an 8-0 lead into half as it cruised to a nonleague victory over Eastwood.
Kortni Montag scored for the Eagles, while Alex Brockschmidt made eight saves in goal.

Junior varsity results
At Maumee Bay State Park, Matt White's round of 40 led Eastwood (188) to a win over Central Catholic (189) and Cardinal Stritch (215).
Fremont St. Joseph beat Elmwood, 25-22, 25-20.
