Perrysburg’s girls basketball team recorded a 43-33 home win over Napoleon in Northern Lakes League play Friday.
In other girls games in the NLL, it was: Northview 74, Bowling Green 61; Anthony Wayne 50, Southview 48; and Maumee 47, Springfield 45.
In girls Midland Athletic League games, it was: Fremont St. Joseph 48, Lakota 43; and North Baltimore 46, Fostoria St. Wendelin 36.
In boys NLL games, it was: Bowling Green 78, Northview 69; Napoleon 66, Perrysburg 62; Anthony Wayne 52, Southview 49; and Maumee 45, Springfield 38.
In boys Northern Buckeye Conference games, it was: Eastwood 72, Lake 69; Otsego 60, Rossford 42; Elmwood 39, Woodmore 38, in overtime; and Fostoria 63, Genoa 49.
And in a boys Toledo Area Athletic Conference game, Maumee Valley beat Northwood, 67-43.

GIRLS
Perrysburg 43, Napoleon 33
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets out-scored Napoleon, 16-6 in the second quarter en route to the NLL win.
Perrysburg is 9-2 overall and 5-2 in the NLL, tied for second place in the league with Bowling Green. Northview is first in the NLL at 7-0.
“They’re a scrappy team,” Perrysburg coach Todd Sims said of Napoleon. “It was a knock-down, drag-out win and you’ve got to win those.”
Taylor Knight led the ’Jackets with 12 points and Kelsea Newman added 11.
No player scored more than eight points for the Wildcats, 8-6, 3-4.

Fremont St. Joseph 48, Lakota 43
In Fremont, Lakota trailed by one point entering the fourth quarter but could not pull out the MAL game.
Sierra Ray led Lakota (1-13, 0-6) with 12 points. Jessica Hoffman added 11 rebounds for the Raiders.
Tori Smith led the Crimson Streaks (6-8, 2-4) with 15 points.

North Baltimore 46, Fostoria St. Wendelin 36
In North Baltimore, the Tigers improved to 11-4, 4-2 with the league win.
Megan Wright led NB with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Ricci Emahiser added 10 points.
Heather Saalman led St. Wendelin (5-9, 3-4) with 13 points.
NB out-rebounded the Mohawks, 40-24 in the game.

BOYS
Otsego 60, Rossford 42
In Tontogany, Otsego out-scored Rossford in each quarter on its way to the win.
A.C. Limes led Otsego (6-5, 3-4) with 17 points and Tommy Rodgers added 10. Limes, Ryan Smoyer and Drake Johnson each had 10 rebounds for the Knights.
Manny Durden paced Rossford (3-9, 3-4) with 17 points.

Elmwood 39, Woodmore 38, OT
In Elmore, Elmwood’s Tyler Rosendale made what proved to be the game-winning free throw with 3.3 seconds left in overtime.
Elmwood (7-4, 4-3) was led by Rosendale’s 13 points and six assists, while Max Zyski added 12. Zyski and Aaron Arnold each had nine rebounds.
Donny Bowen led Woodmore (5-6, 3-4) with 11 points.

Maumee Valley 67, Northwood 43
In Toledo, Maumee Valley made 11 3-pointers in the game and cruised to the victory.
Julius Turner led the Hawks (10-2, 6-1) with 21 points.
Evan Perkins led the Rangers (2-10, 1-5) with 17 points.

HOCKEY
St. Francis 7, BGHS 2
Ninth-ranked St. Francis scored five straight goals to erase a 1-0 deficit in a Northwest Hockey Conference Red Division game at the Ice Arena.
The Knights, who held a 32-20 edge in shots, scored four times in the last nine minutes of the first period and once midway through the second period for a 5-1 lead.
Rob Tyrrell and Mason Mayberry scored for BG, and Tanner Fausnaugh made 18 saves.
BG is 6-12-1 overall and 0-4 in the NHC. St. Francis is 8-11-3, 1-3.

SWIMMING
BOYS
Findlay 107, BGHS 75
In Findlay, Bowling Green’s Jacob Burk and Peter Burroughs each won two individual events Tuesday.
Burk won the 100 butterfly (1:02.69) and 100 backstroke (1:04.97).
Burroughs won the 100 (50.39) and 200 (1:47.87) freestyles.

GIRLS
Findlay 107, BGHS 79
In Findlay, Bowling Green’s Bailey Burk and Mallory Glenn each won two individual events Tuesday.
Burk on the 100 butterfly (1:08.56) and 100 breast stroke (1:15.43).
Glenn won the 50 (27.50) and 100 (1:00.43) freestyles.
Burk, Glenn, Mikaela Barbour and Nicole Castor combined to win the 200 medley relay (2:05.07). Glenn, Castor, Mikayla Mueller and Burk combined to win the 400 freestyle relay (4:04.47).

Freshmen results
BOYS BASKETBALL
Bowling Green beat Northview, 52-47 in overtime. Aidan Markey scored 13 points for the Bobcats.

Junior high results
WRESTLING
Anthony Wayne defeated Bowling Green, 60-27. Winning matches for BG were: Jeremiah Lurch, Dakotah Burch, Kaleb O’Brien, Manny Carrillo, Mason Cordes, Alex Jewell, Anakin Scott, and Jeremy Christoff.
