Perrysburg’s baseball team improved to 23-4 overall and 10-2 in the Northern Lakes League with a 7-1 victory over Springfield at home Friday. The ’Jackets are ranked No. 3 in the final Division I state poll.
Collin Parrill improved to 5-0 on the season, pitching all seven innings for the win. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out 12.
Leading hitters for Perrysburg were: Jeremy Black, 1-for-1, home run, one run batted in; Matt White, 2-for-4, run scored; Matt Slocum, 1-for-4, two RBI; Zach Kolvey, two runs scored; David Gordon, 2-for-3, run scored; and Alec Schmenk, 2-for-2, RBI.

BGHS 10, Rossford 0
Bowling Green scored four runs in the first and cruised to the NLL victory.
Leading hitters for the Bobcats were: Rachel Irick, winning pitcher, 3-for-3, double, two RBI; and Hayley Williford, 2-for-3, double, two RBi.

Freshman results
Bowling Green beat Perrysburg, 9-5. Austin Rodesky pitched five innings for the Bobcats, allowing one run while striking out eight and walking two and Jordan Engle finished the game.. Top hitters for BG were: Keegan Beaverson, 2-for-2, two doubles; Jacob Paluch, 3-for-3; Quinn Donaldson, 2-for-3; Rob Tyrrell, double.
