Otsego clinched at least a tie for the Northern Buckeye Conference baseball title with a 17-5 win over Rossford Monday. The Knights are 11-0 in the league. PHOTO GALLERY
Otsego had 23 hits in the game, including nine for extra bases.
Otsego's top hitters were: Ryan Smoyer, 5-for-5, two doubles, triple, RBI; winning pitcher Collin Austin, 4-for-6, two doubles, five RBI; Hunter Donald, 2-for-5, double, two RBI; Drake Johnson, 3-for-5, two doubles, three RBI; Max Miller, 2-for-4, double, three RBI; and Josh Williams, 2-for-4.
Ryan Reed was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Rossford

BASEBALL
Eastwood 11, Woodward 0
Eastwood posted a run-rule victory five innings in a Division II game at Mercy Field. The Eagles, 15-6 overall, face Toledo Central Catholic Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
Skylar Dierker was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored and Todd Miller was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI to pace the Eagles.
Woodward was limited to one hit as freshman Eli Brown struck out 10.

Northwood 10,
Toledo Christian 3
In a Division IV game at Ottawa Hills, Northwood earned a sectional title with its win over Toledo Christian. The Rangers are 13-9 overall.
Northwood's top hitters were: winning pitcher Nick Russell, 3-for-3, home run, two RBI; Evan Perkins, 2-for-4, double; John Segura, 2-for-4, double, two RBI; and Myles Habel, 2-for-3, RBI.
Toledo Christian was limited to two hits.

REGULAR SEASON
Perrysburg 19,
Springfield 9, 5 innings
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets had 14 hits on the way to the run-rule Northern Lakes League win. The sixth-ranked Yellow Jackets are 21-2 overall and 10-0 in the NLL.
Perrysburg's top hitters were: A.J. Stockwell, 3-for-3, triple, four RBI; Gus Dimmerling, 2-fof-3, triple, five RBI; Zach Honsberger, 2-for-3, two RBI, three runs scored; Bobby Borger, 1-for-1, two RBI; and Nick Munger, 2-for-2, four runs scored.

Elmwood 9, Woodmore 1, 5 innings
In Jerry City, Elmwood had 10 hits in a NBC win over Woodmore Monday. The Royals are 11-11 overall and 5-5 in the NBC.

In Jerry City, Miranda Benschoter pitched a two-hitter, walking one and striking out 11 in the NBC victory. The Royals are 18-4 overall and 9-0 in the NBC.
Elmwood's top hitters were: Brittany George, 2-for-3, solo home run; Katie Bottesch, 2-for-3, double, RBI; Tori Hillard, two RBI; and Benschoter, double.

Eastwood 9, Lake 1
In Millbury, Eastwood improved to 22-2 overall and 9-2 in the NBC with its win over Lake (13-11, 5-5).
Eastwood's top hitters were: Mackenzie Albright, 2-for-2; Emily Helm, 2-for-2; and Ally Gabel, double.
Lake's top hitters were: Sam Whiteman, 2-for-3, double; and Kayla Encalado, double.
Eastwood's Sam Shirling pitched a five-hitter, striking out three and walking none.

Rossford 3, Otsego 1
In Rossford, Kelly Swope had all three hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs for the Bulldogs in the NBC matchup.
Kylie Asmus and Tayler Bowen were each 2-for-3 for Otsego, with Asmus hitting a triple. Savannah Schwind drove in the only run for the Knights.
Asmus struck out 13.
Rossford is 17-6 overall and 7-3 in the NBC and Otsego is 11-9, 4-6.

Springfield 13, Perrysburg 1,
5 innings
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets were limited to five hits in the NLL game.
Mallory Creps was 2-for-2 for Perrysburg, 9-13 overall and 4-7 in the NLL.

Maumee 5, BGHS 1
In Maumee, Bowling Green's Emily Sidle hit a solo home run for the Bobcats only run in the NLL game. BG left seven runners on base.
Kristi Eikenbery and Lily Murnen each hit two singles for the Bobcats.

Lakota 10, Bettsville 0,
5 innings
In Kansas, Lakota scored nine times in the second inning and Morgan Gangwer pitched a two-hitter to pace the Raiders to the Midland Athletic League win.
Gangwer struck out seven.
Lakota's top hitters were: Alaina Bickford, 2-for-3, triple, two RBI; Bryan Long-Meyer, 2-for-2, two RBI; and Nikkia Cooper 1-for-1, two RBI.

North Baltimore 8, Carey 0
In Carey, North Baltimore scored six times in the first inning on the way to the MAL shutout win.
Cheyenne Hernandez pitched a six-hitter as NB improved to 13-7 overall and 7-1 in the MAL.
Top hitters for NB were: Hernandez, 3-for-4, triple, two RBI; Ricci Emahiser, 2-for-4, double; and Nique Buchanan, 1-for-3, home run, two RBI.

Junior high results
BOYS TRACK
Otsego beat Woodmore, 67-56.
Event winners for Otsego were: Noah Platzke (shot put), Jake Case (high jump), Adam Lewis (pole vault and 800), Skyler Bullis (110 hurdles), the 400 relay team of Marcus Easterwood, Lance Sniegowski, Charles Sallee, and James Mehl, and the 800 relay team of Bullis, Nick Krabill, Tony Hernandez, and Caleb Frank.

GIRLS TRACK
Otsego beat Woodmore, 81-42.
Otsego winners were: Hana Jennings (100 and 200 hurdles); Kenzie Wilson (100, high jump); Emma Perry, (shot put and discus); Lydia Archambo (pole vault); 400 relay team of Candice Kleman, Wilson, Kennedy Niceley and Zion Richardson; and the 1,600 relay team of Mason Niceley, Kennedy Niceley, Hannah Snyder and Maggie Long.
