Friday night’s high school football.Lake quarterback Jared Rettig passed for 602
yards and seven touchdowns in a 54-40 win over Elmwood.Genoa was a 48-27 winner
over Otsego in a battle of Northern Buckeye Conference unbeatens.And Northwood
remained undefeated with a 54-7 win over Hilltop.In other games involving Wood

Millbury, Rettig returned from a concusssion to complete 33-of-47 passes as Lake
took a 20-0 lead in the first quarter and held Elmwood off after that.Rettig had
scoring passes of 62 and 42 yards to Ben Swartz, 71 and 45 yards to Chris Salaz,
50 yards to Zach Schroeder, 53 yards to Connor Bowen and 46 yards to Adam
Duncan.Swartz opened the scoring on a 32-yard punt return.Salaz had six catches
for 181 yards, while Swartz caught six passes for 124 yards.The Flyers, 2-4
overall and 1-2 in the NBC, totaled 658 yards. They passed for 630 of their
yards.Elmwood passed for 292 of its 495 yards, with Derick Mobus scoring on runs

Genoa, Kyle Nutter ran for four TDs as the Comets held off Otsego.Otsego rallied
from a 17-0 deficit at the half to close within 24-21 in the third quarter, but
Genoa answered with the next 24 points.The Comets, ranked sixth in Division IV,
are 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the NBC. Otsego is 3-3, 2-1.Ryan Smoyer threw for all
four Otsego TDs. He had scoring passes of 61 and 46 yards to Nate Hackworth and
33 and 5 yards to Jerome Griffin.Northwood 54, Hilltop 7In West Unity, Northwood
rolled up 265 yards rushing and 176 yards passing to improve to 6-0 overall and
3-0 in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference.The Rangers are ranked seventh in
Division V.Jake Davenport scored three touchdowns for the Rangers, catching TD
passes of 55 and 19 yards from Nick Russell, and adding a 33-yard interception
return.Russell finished 6-of-7 for 147 yards and two TDs, while Nick Whitmore
rushed four times for 52 yards, and Brandon Mahoney had three receptions for 47
yards.Northwood allowed just 14 yards rushing and 92 yards passing.Hilltop is
