North Baltimore finished first and Lake was second Friday in the Lakota Invitational boys golf tournament at Loudon Meadows in Fostoria. NB shot a 340 total in the 15-team tournament, edging Lake and Hopewell-Loudon by four strokes. However, Lake finished second on the tiebreaker. Also from Wood County, Elmwood was 10th with 376 and Lakota was 14th with 401. NB’s Brock Boyer was second individually with a 78, one stroke behind medalist Jeremy Hanna of Tiffin Calvert. Lakota’s Makayla Dull tied for third with a 79, while NB’s Corey Bean tied for fifth with an 80. NB’s other scores were: Jacob Frost, 90; and Garrett Boyer, 92. Lake’s scores were: Ian Johnson, 81; Jeff Wilson, 83; Joe Hansen, 86; and Michael Kranz, 94. Lakota’s other scores were: Nate Ray, 91; Hunter Chalfin, 94; and Aaron Reasor, 137. Elmwood’s scores were: Brad Corbin, 84; Trevor Robbins, 93; Allen Dyar, 94; and Marc Day, 105. Fremont St. Joseph 3, BGHS 2 In Fremont, Cassadie Baker at No. 1 singles, and the No. 1 doubles team of Sabrina Smith and Molly Fenn had BG’s wins in the non-league match. TENNIS FREMONT ST.
