OLD FORT — North Baltimore’s baseball team scored five times in the fifth inning to break a 3-3 tie Friday and the Tigers held on for an 8-4 win over Old Fort in a Midland Athletic League game.
NB’s leading hitters were: Tyler Trumbull, single, double, run batted in; Andrew Hollinger, RBI single; and Sean Watson, double.
Watson pitched a four-hitter, striking out eight and allowing just two earned runs.
NB is 4-4 overall and 2-0 in the MAL.
The game originally was scheduled to be played at NB, but was moved to Old Fort.
