Sixth-ranked Lake remained undefeated and Rossford won to keep pace with the Flyers in Northern Buckeye
Conference boys basketball action Friday night.
Lake was a 71-45 winner over Woodmore and Rossford posted a 58-49 victory over Elmwood.
In other NBC games, it was: Genoa 62, Otsego 59; and Eastwood 81, Fostoria 36.
In a Northern Lakes League, game it was: Perrysburg 93, Bowling Green 54.
In a girls game, it was Perrysburg 70, Bowling Green 48.

Lake 71, Woodmore 45
In Elmore, Connor Bowen scored 19 points and Jared Rettig added 15 as Lake improved to 12-0 overall and
6-0 in the NBC.
Also for the Flyers, Brandyn Neal had 13 points and Jacob Rettig scored 10.
Woodmore is 2-11, 2-15.

Jerry City, Derek Mack scored 30 points and Rossford (9-4, 6-1) overcome a 20-12 deficit after one
quarter.
Mack finished 11-of-21 from the field, including 5-of-11 on 3-pointers.
Trevor Solether scored 14 points for Elmwood (1-10, 0-6), and Tayte Lentz and Aaron Arnold each had 10.
Arnold also had six rebounds and four assists.
Eastwood 81, Fostoria 36
In Fostoria, Jake Schmeltz scored 24 points to help Eastwood (8-4, 4-2) roll past the Redmen (2-9, 0-6).

Grant Peters added 17 points for the Eagles, and Zach Jacoby scored 11 points.
Genoa 62, Otsego 59
In Genoa, the Comets (5-4, 4-3) built leads of 19-5 after one quarter and 51-40 after three quarters to
hold off Otsego (5-6, 3-3).
Genoa’s Luke Rightnowar scored 19 points, and Casey Gose and Noah Goodrich both had 11. The Comets made
12 3-pointers.
Jalen Myers had 17 points for Otsego, while Schyler Scherff scored 14.

Brothers Andre 4, BGHS 1
In Markham, Ontario, Brothers Andre scored twice in both the second and third periods to erase a 1-0
deficit.
Adam Furnas scored for BG, and Tanner Fausnaugh had 36 saves.
BG, 10-8-1 overall, was out-shot by a 40-28 margin.

Rossford beats Eastwood
At Rossford Lanes, the Bulldogs improved to 9-3 overall and 6-3 in the Northern Ohio Bowling Conference
with a 3,124-2,953 win over Eastwood.
Mason Robinson led Rossford with games of 236 and 255 for a 491 total.
Other top bowlers for Rossford were: Drew Pinardo, 233, 425; Karl Hermes, 225, 424; and Brennan Reynolds,
225.
Eastwood’s leaders were: Mike Young, 204, 208, 412; Matt White, 215, 256, 471; and Kyle Waynick, 245,
233, 478.
GIRLS
Eastwood tops Rossford
At Rossford Lanes, Eastwood was a 2,291-2,314 winner over Rossford in an NOBC match.
Eastwood’s Kat Przybyski had a 205 game and a 377 series.
Hannah Peterson had a 289 total for Rossford, and Madalyn Jones had a 180 game.
