Lake's baseball team improved to 6-3 overall Thursday with a 7-5 win over visiting Port Clinton in a nonleague game.
The Flyers scored five times in the fourth inning to erase a 4-1 deficit.
Lake's leading hitters were: Connor Bowen, 2-for-4; Cody Witt, 2-for-3; and Nick Walsh, 1-for-2, double.
Bowen, Witt and Walsh each had a run batted in.

Northwood 13, Gibsonburg 3
In Gibsonburg, Northwood scored six times in the third inning on the way to a Toledo Area Athletic Conference win.
Northwood's John Segura, 3-for-3, four runs, two RBI, two doubles; Nick Russell, 2-for-4, run, four RBI; double; Justin Rohrs, 3-for-5, run, four RBI, double, home run; Jacob Davenport, 1-for-4, run, triple; and Brandon Mahoney, 1-for-3, run RBI.
Russell was the winning pitcher. Gibsonburg had just two hits.

Junior varsity results
Northwood defeated Gibsonburg, 4-2,  to improve to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference.
Steven Gutekunst was the winning pitcher, tossing six innings, allowing two earned runs and recording eight strikeouts; John Habel picked up the save. Dennis Danko went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, and Sean Whitmore went 1-for-2 with two RBI for Northwood.

Junior high results
Eastwood beat Fostoria, 89-30. Eastwood's winners were: Hannah Sponaugle, 1,600 (5:52), 800 (2:42); Lean Tressel, 100 (14.0), 200 (29.8), 400 (71.0);  Meagan Melcher, discus (64-2); Marissa Launstein, high jump (4-8); Chandler Davidson, pole vault (5-0), long jump (12-9); Jolynn Nissen, 200 hurdles (26.8); the 800 relay team of Abke, Lang, C. Davidson and Molina, 2:10; and the 1,600 relay team of Nissen, Delgado, Shanks and J. Davidson, 5:06.
Eastwood beat Fostoria, 81-42. Eastwood's winners were: Logan Baugher, long jump (18-0), 110 hurdles (17.8), 400 (58.8); Jacob Montag, pole vault (7-6); Josh Bierley, 1,600 (5:30), 800 (2:30); Antonio Salinas, 200 hurdles (30.2); Ryan Reiter, 200 (26.8); the 800 relay team of McCauley, Avalos, Niswander and Emahiser, 1:52; and the 1,600 relay team of Emahiser, Hahn, Meece and Cooper, 4:31.
