Rossford’s girls basketball team improved to 2-0 in the Northern Buckeye Conference with a 54-42 win over Otsego, Thursday night.
Julie Hotz led the Bulldogs, 3-2 overall, with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
In other girls games, it was: Elmwood 54, Woodmore 41; Lake 47, Eastwood 26; and Mohawk, 52, Lakota 19.
In a boys game, it was: Southview 64, Bowling Green 40.
Rossford 54, Otsego 42
In Rossford, a 21-6 advantage in the third quarter led Rossford to its NBC win.
Kirsten Keller added 14 points and six assists, for the Bulldogs, who connected on seven 3-pointers.
Abby Hesselschwardt led Otsego (2-3, 0-2) with 13 points.
Elmwood 54, Woodmore 41
In Jerry City, behind 17 points from Kristen Curtis, Elmwood cruised to an NBC win over Woodmore.
Rebecca Harvey, Courtney Emmitt and Sam Ervin all added 10 points for the Royals, 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the NBC.
Mohawk 52, Lakota 19
In Sycamore, Mohawk held Lakota to single digits in every quarter on its way to a Midland Athletic League win.
Morgan Mowry led Lakota with six points.
Junior high results
SEVENTH GRADE BASKETBALL
Elmwood beat Otsego, 28-17. Madison Dzierwa led Otsego with six points.
Napoleon beat Bowling Green, 78-18. Winning by pin for the Bobcats were: Nicolas Jackson, Patrick Campos and Kobe Speery.
