Perrysburg’s girls improved to 18-2 with an 82-45 nonleague victory over Toledo Waite Monday.
In Otsego’s 43-39 Northern Buckeye Conference win over Woodmore, the Knights’s Morgan Smoyer just missed
a triple-double.
In other girls games, it was: Lake 48, Fostoria 44; Oak Harbor 60, Eastwood 30; North Baltimore 55,
Maumee Valley 18; and Northwood 56, Monclova Christian 27.
In a boys game it was: Northwood 48, Monclova Christian 42.
BASKETBALL
GIRLS
Perrysburg 82, Waite 45
In Toledo, Sarah Baer scored 21 points, Allex Brown had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and Abby Sattler added
19 points to pace the Yellow Jackets. Lindy DeLong had seven assists for the Yellow Jackets.
Perrysburg scored 52 points in the second half.
Otsego 43, Woodmore 39
In Tontogany, Smoyer scored 19 points, and added 15 rebounds, and nine blocked shots to help the Knights
get past Woodmore.
Smoyer was 11-of-16 from the free-throw line.
Lindsey Donald added 13 points for Otsego, 10-10 overall, 7-5 in the NBC.
Allie Wank scored 15 points for Woodmore, 8-12, 6-6.
Lake 48, Fostoria 44
In Millbury, Lake scored 21 points in the second quarter, and then hung on for the NBC win.
Catie Phalen scored 18 points for the Flyers, now 10-10 overall, 7-6 in the NBC, and Jordyn Taylor
contributed eight rebounds and four assists.
Fostoria is 1-18, 0-12.
Oak Harbor 69, Eastwood 30
In Luckey, Oak Harbor jumped ahead early and went on to post the nonleague win.
Maddy Rathburn scored 17 points for the Rockets, 16-4 overall.
Mackenzie Albright led the Eagles, 2-17, with eight points.
North Baltimore 55,
Maumee Valley 18
In Toledo, Mackenzie Stewart, Kiah Powell, and Olivia Frost each scored 10 points in North Baltimore’s
nonleague win.
Powell added 11 rebounds while Stewart and Lacey Trumbull each had four steals for NB, now 8-13 overall.

Northwood 56,
Monclova Christian 27
In Northwood, Alex Rable scored 16 points and Doma Cruz added 11 for the Rangers, now 5-15 overall.
Northwood outscored Monclova Christian, 37-11 in the second half.
BOYS
Northwood 48,
Monclova Christian 42
In Northwood, the Rangers held off Monclova Christian to record their first victory of the season.
Northwood led 35-24 heading into the final quarter, and made 9-of-15 free throws in the fourth quarter.

Dillan Cathers, Stephen Sutton, and Jacob Vickers each scored 11 points for Northwood, now 1-15.
