Elmwood’s softball team improved to 13-3 overall and 5-1 in the Northern Buckeye Conference with an 18-2
run-rule victory at Lake Monday.

Miranda Benschoter struck out 10 in five innings and scattered three hits. She also was 3-for-4 at the
plate with a triple and an RBI.
Other top hitters for Elmwood were: Olivia Myers, 3-for-4, RBI; Rebecca Harvey, 2-for-3, double, RBI; and
Madison Arnold, 3-for-4, double, four RBI;
For Lake, Peyton Marchetto and Jessica Densic each singled and had an RBI.
Eastwood 7, Rossford 3
In Luckey, Eastwood improved to 17-1 overall 5-1 in the NBC.
Top hitters for Eastwood were: Anna Rahrig, 4-for-4, double; Mackenzie Albright, 2-for-4; Marissa Tudor,
2-for-4, double; Michaela Bunge, 2-for-4; and Maddie Fix, double.
Sam Shirling recorded six strikeouts in the victory.
For Rossford, Margo Jackson was 2-for-4 with a double, Maggie Leahy was 2-for-4; and Claire Verbosky was
2-for-3.
Genoa 3, Otsego 0
In Genoa, Otsego had three singles in an NBC game.
Southview 8, Perrysburg 5,
10 innings
In Perrysburg, Southview scored three times in the 10th to win a Northern Lakes League contest.
Top hitters for Perrysburg were: Tylah Remaley, 3-for-5; and Caity Reighard, 3-for-5, triple, three RBI.

In Fremont, Lakota smacked 14 hits en route to a Midland Athletic League victory.

In North Baltimore, St. Wendelin scored twice in the seventh for an MAL win.

Northwood 18, Danbury 2,

In Northwood, an 11-run third inning propelled the Rangers to a Toledo Area Athletic Conference win.
Jade Laviolette threw a three-hitter and was 2-for-3 with a double.
Other top hitters for Northwood were: Brianna Crispen, triple; and Morgan Thayer, double, three RBI.
Northwood is 6-8 and 2-3 in the TAAC.

In Perrysburg, Southview scored in the third and seventh to erase a 1-0 deficit and hand the Yellow
Jackets (14-3, 5-2) an NLL loss.
Perrysburg’s Mark Delas had nine strikeouts in six innings.
The Yellow Jackets had just two hits.
Napoleon 4, BGHS 0
In Napoleon, Clark Mayberry’s single was BG’s only hit.
The Bobcats are 11-8 overall and 2-6 in the NLL.

In Millbury, Anthony Pratt’s hit with the bases loaded broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the sixth.

Pratt, who had a double and three RBI, helped the Flyers improve to 18-2 overall and 7-8 in the NBC.
Other top hitters for Lake were: Cody Witt, 2-for-4, RBI and Connor Bowen, 2-for-4.
The Royals (7-10, 2-4) had only four hits.

In Genoa, Max Miller was 2-for-4 and scored a run, and Trent Soto was 2-for-4 for Otsego in an NBC game.

In Luckey, Eli Brown was 3-for-4 for Eastwood (2-13, 1-4) in an NBC game.

In North Baltimore, the Tigers improved to 7-12 overall and 3-2 in the MAL.
Zach Stewart led North Baltimore at the plate with a single, double and four RBI.

Fremont St. Joseph 1
In Fremont, Nick Watts and Casey Monroe combined a three-hitter as Lakota (8-9, 4-3) posted an MAL win.

Watts went the first six innings, allowing a run on three hits with nine strikeouts and no walks. Monroe
finished, striking out two.
Watts also was 3-for-4 wit a triple, a run and an RBI.
Lakota’s other leading hitters were: Dakota Gilbert, 2-for-4, RBI; Josh Mason, 2-for-4; Madison Jaso,
double, RBI; and Jordan Jaso, 2-for-4, run.

In Northwood, the Rangers clubbed 13 hits in a TAAC win to improve to 7-11, 4-2.
