Elmwood’s softball team improved to 16-3 overall and 8-1 in the Northern Buckeye Conference Monday with a
14-0, five-inning win at Fostoria.
Elmwood’s leading hitters were: Olivia Myers, 2-for-3, two runs, RBI; Rebecca Harvey, 3-for-4, double,
triple, home run; three runs, three RBI; Lindsay George, 2-for-2, double, three RBI; Chelsie Schmitz,
double; and Kristi Reiser, home run.
The Royals’ Miranda Benschoter pitched a one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one.
Perrysburg 7, Northview 6
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets took a 7-2 lead after two innings to win a Northern Lakes League game.

Deanna Granata and Kelsey Moore both were 2-for-3 with an RBI for Perrysburg (9-14, 4-7).

North Baltimore 11,
Kalida 1, 5 innings
In North Baltimore, Hanna Brian was 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBI for the Tigers in a Division IV
game.
Jasmine Bretz added a double for NB (8-12), which is at Miller City for its next district game Thursday
night at 5.
NB’s Cheyenne Hernandez pitched a one-hitter striking out six.

Perrysburg 1, Napoleon 0,
12 innings
In Perrysburg, Connor Jordan’s pinch-hit double with one out in the bottom of the 12th drove in the
game’s only run.
Zack Zam was hit by a pitch to lead off the Perrysburg 12th and was replaced by pinch-runner Kaleb
Mahler.
After a strikeout, Mahler stole second and Seth Durham walked.
Jordan followed with his double to score Jordan as 10th-ranked Perrysburg improved to 7-3 in the NLL.
Perrysburg pitchers AJ Stockwell and Mark Delas pitched a four-hitter and struck out 14.
Stockwell went the first 10 innings, allowing four hits and striking out 13.
Three Napoleon pitchers allowed just five hits and struck out 21.
North Baltimore 5, Carey 3
In North Baltimore, Andrew Hollinger pitched an eight-hitter and struck out four for NB.
Carey scored in the first, but NB answered with two runs in its half of the first and added another run
in the fifth.
Sean Watson and Zach Stewart each singled twice for NB, with Watson adding two RBI.
NB is 9-13 overall and 4-3 in the Midland Athletic League.

Rossford beat Otsego, 59-55. Otsego’s winners were: Marcus Easterwood, shot put,100; Ethan Martin,
discus; Phillip McDaniel, 200; Shane Tobar, 1600; and the 400 relay team of Damion Ball, Evan Farley,
Joey Konrad, and McDaniel.
