Elmwood slipped past North Baltimore, 2-1 in a nonleague baseball game Thursday.
There were seven singles in the game and no player had more than one hit.
North Baltimore pitcher Jordan Watson struck out 11 and walked two.

Lake 21, Toledo Waite 6,
5 innings
In Toledo, Lake erupted for 15 hits Thursday en route to a nonleague victory. The Flyers are 2-1 with the five-inning win.
Nick Walsh  and Casey Blank led the way for the Flyers. Walsh was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Blank was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
Other top hitters for Lake were: Spencer Schultz, single, double, two RBI; Brad Ackerman, single, double, RBI; and Joel Densic, two singles and an RBI.

Perrysburg 3, Clay 2
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets improved to 2-0 with a nonleague win.
Mark Delas was 3-for-3 for  Perrysburg and struck out four in five innings. Nick Munger earned the save.
Steve Slocum and Austin Lee both hit triples for Perrysburg.

BGHS 10, Bryan 0, 5 innings
Hanna Williford pitched a two-hit shutout in a game called in the fifth inning due to the mercy rule.
Williford walked one and struck out two.
Top hitters for BG were: Reagan Morman, single, double, two RBI; and Kristi Eikenbery and Emily Sidle, two singles each.

Clay 4, Perrysburg 1
In Perrysburg, Katie Dunphy doubled and scored a run for Perrysburg (0-2) in a nonleague game.

Eastwood 14, Hopewell-Loudon 1, 5 innings
In Bascom, Whitney Foster had a big day as Eastwood improved to 3-0.
Foster pitched a three-hitter, striking out five and not walking a batter. She also hit a single, two doubles and had four RBI.
The Eagles had 16 hits.
Other top hitters for Eastwood were: Cassidy Rolf, single, two home runs, three RBI; Ally Gabel, two doubles;  Krista Jennings, single, double; Diana Bushman, two singles; Makenzie Albright, double; and Emily Helm, double, two RBI.

BGHS 3, Central Catholic 2
Bowling Green won at second singles, and also won both doubles matches to defeat Toledo Central Catholic in a nonleague match. The Bobcats are 2-1.

Junior varsity results
Perrysburg beat Clay, 6-1 to improve to 4-0 overall.
