Maddie Cherry scored a goal in each half and Morgan Donaldson made nine saves as Eastwood blanked Toledo Central Catholic, 2-0 in a Division II sectional soccer championship game Wednesday at Lake High School.
Kaleigh Obrock assisted on both goals for Eastwood, 9-6-2 overall.
The Eagles play in the district against the Bowling Green-Maumee winner next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Lake.

Lake loses
At Perrysburg, Maumee beat Lake, 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.

Junior high results
Bowling Green defeated Springfield, 46-15. Brian Dible scored four touchdowns, including returning an interception for a score, for the Bobcats. Also for BG, Spencer Rader threw a touchdown pass to Nick Jackson while Blake Powers and Patrick Freeworth each added a touchdown. Powers, Dible, and Sam Steffen each had a 2-point conversion.
Cam Nagel, Freeworth, and Jackson led the team in tackles while William Thompson, Gabe Obregon, and Jacob Brockway each recovered a fumble.
BG finished 5-3.
