Both Eastwood's and Otsego's baseball teams are 5-0 in the Northern Buckeye Conference after each posted wins on Wednesday.
Eastwood (12-3 overall) defeated Rossford 11-5 to while Otsego (7-5) beat Genoa, 4-2.

Eastwood 11, Rossford 5
In Luckey, Eastwood's Zach Coffield led the way at the plate going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Otsego 4, Genoa 2
In Tontogany, Ryan Smoyer had 10 strikeouts, walked one and pitched a four-hitter for the Knights.
Otsego's Drake Johnson had two RBI and Deven Vollmar had a single and an RBI.

Lake 4, Elmwood 2
In Jerry City, Lake improved to 7-7 overall and 2-2 in the NBC. Elmwood dropped to 8-7, 2-3.
Lake's Jayce Vancena pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts.
Top hitters for Lake were: Connor Bowen, 3-for-4; Nick Walsh, 2-for-3, home run, two RBI; Brad Ackerman, 1-for-3, double, two RBI.
Zach Irick had a double for Elmwood and Austin Hoiles was 1-for-3 with two RBI.

North Baltimore 6, Lakota 3
In Kansas, North Baltimore trailed 2-0 before scoring six runs in the top of the seventh inning to capture a Midland Athletic League win.
NB is 10-7, 5-0.
Chase Nichols had three singles for North Baltimore while teammate Zach Stewart had a double.
Top hitters for Lakota were: Tiger Jaso, home run; and Jordan Jaso, single, double.
Nathan Watts had 11 strikeouts for the Raiders.

SOFTBALL
Eastwood 9, Rossford 1
In Rossford, Eastwood improved to 4-2 in the NBC.
The Eagles are 15-2 overall.
Eastwood's Whitney Foster tallied five strikeouts and was also 3-for-4.
Other top hitters for Eastwood were: Krista Jennings, 3-for-3, double, two RBI; Anna Rahrig, 2-for-3, double; Diana Bushman, 2-for-3, double; Cassidy Rolf, 2-for-4; and Mackenzie Albright, double.
Kelly Swope doubled for Rossford. The Bulldogs are 11-4, 2-2.

Otsego 3, Genoa 0
In Tontogany, Kylie Asmus pitched a two-hitter and had nine strikeouts as Otsego improved to 3-1 in the NBC. The Knights are 9-4.
Otsego's Savannah Schwind had a single and a double for Otsego and Tayler Bowen had two singles.

Southview 2, BGHS 0
Kelsey Parker singled twice for BG in a Northern Lakes League game.

North Baltimore 15, Lakota 2
In Kansas, North Baltimore had16 hits and improved to 4-1 in the MAL. The Tigers are 9-6.
Lakota dropped to 6-6, 3-2.
Cheyenne Hernandez picked up the win and was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Other top hitters for NB were: Megan Wright, 3-for-4, RBI; Kelsey Gazarek, 2-for-4, double, four RBI; Courtney Bretz, 2-for-4, triple, RBI; Haleigh Fleck, 2-for-4, triple; Nique Buchanan, 2-for-2; and Kelcie Bean, 2-for-3, double, four RBI.
Alaina Bickford was 2-for-3 for Lakota with an RBI.

In Sylvania, Bowling Green's Lucas Overmyer won the 1,600 (4:53.97) and the 3,200 (11:03.82) on Tuesday.

Northwood 44, Danbury 39
In Northwood, the Rangers' Louis Wayome won the high jump (5-5) and the long jump (17-8).

GIRLS
BGHS 100, Southview 37
In Sylvania, BG's Sasha Lanning won the 1,600 (5:48.59) and the 3,200 (12:54.53), Zhaile Hoskay won the 100 hurdles (18.65) and the 300 hurdles (53.92), and Cassadie Baker won the discus (104-2) and tied for first in the shot put (33-1/2 ).

Toledo Christian 99, Cardinal Stritch 66,
Danbury 44, Northwood 34
In Northwood, the Rangers' individual winners were Katelynn Conley in the shot put (34-1/2 ) and Olivia Carbé in the 3,200 (13:04.7).
