Toledo St. Ursula won 6-0 Monday over Eastwood in a Division II girls soccer sectional match at Lake High School. For Eastwood, Marissa Flores had nine saves and Morgan Donaldson had seven. St. Ursula advanced to face fifth-ranked and top-seeded Maumee or Lake Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. The Lake-Maumee match is Wednesday night at 7:30. GIRLS SOCCER DIVISION III In Swanton, Otsego advanced with a 3-2 shoot-out win over Toledo Christian. The score was tied 1-1 in regulation and at the end of overtime. Otsego faces Archbold this afternoon at 4:45 at Swanton. Junior high results EIGHTH GRADE VOLLEYBALL Perrysburg was a 22-25, 25-21, 25-18 winner over Arbor Hills in the Northern Lakes League tournament. Perrysburg's leaders were: Christine Pavelko, five aces, three kills; McKinley Harlett, three aces, five kills; and Lauren Smith, 15 assists. Perrysburg's next match is Wednesday against Anthony Wayne or Gateway at 5:30 p.m. |
