Eastwood's boys soccer team beat Lake, 7-3, in a  Northern Buckeye Conference match Thursday. PHOTO GALLERY
Lucas McCullough and Tim Heinzelmann led the Eagles with two goals each, while Joey Salinas, Steven Bradley and Jared Luther each added a goal.
Danny Patel scored twice for the Flyers, now 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the NBC.
Jeremy Likes also scored, while Vince Askins recorded 15 saves in goal for Lake.

SOCCER
BOYS
Perrysburg 3, Findlay 1
In Findlay, Perrysburg picked up its first win of the season.
Stephen Beaujean and Albert Damsi each had a goal and an assist, while Logan Giesigi also scored.
Kyle Rowan had three saves in goal for the Yellow Jackets, now 1-4-0.

GIRLS
Archbold 3, BGHS 1
Bowling Green fell to Archbold in a nonleague match.
Olivia Stimmel scored BG's lone goal, while Livvy Dill recorded nine saves in goal.
Anthony Wayne shutout Bowling Green, 7-0, in a Northern Lakes League match Wednesday night.
Dill recorded 12 saves in goal for the Bobcats.

Lake 2, Eastwood 0
In Millbury, Lake scored once in the first half and once in the second half en route to an NBC-shutout win over Eastwood.
Alex Brockschmidt had eight saves in goal for the Eagles.

VOLLEYBALL
Eastwood downs Otsego
In Luckey, Eastwood remained undefeated in the NBC with a 30-28, 30-28, 21-25, 17-25, 20-18 win over Otsego.
Leading the Eagles were: Jaci Juergens, 56 assists, seven kills, 25 digs; Mackenzie Albright, 36 digs; Bree Hoodlebrink, eight kills; Elise Wolff, 33 kills, 21 digs; Emily Hayward, 16 kills; Cassidy Rolf, 11 kills; and Sarah Klink, 10 kills.
Eastwood, 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the NBC, overcame fifth-set deficits of 8-3 and 14-12.

Perrysburg beats Springfield
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets improved to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the NLL with a 22-25, 25-15, 125-22, 25-17 win over Springfield.
Perrysburg's leaders were: Savannah Miller, 20 kills, five blocks; Audra Appold, 10 kills, four aces; Chloe Matuga, 33 assists; Mackenzie Pohlman, five kills, three blocks; and Shannon Fastnacht, six kills, three blocks.

BGHS tops Northview
Bowling Green defeated Northview, 25-22, 25-16, 25-19 in an NLL match.
BG's leaders were: Maddy Dunn, eight kills, three blocks, two aces; Tyanna Smith, seven kills, one block, two aces; and Rachel Clark, four aces, eight digs.

Elmwood sweeps Rossford
In Jerry City, Elmwood was a 25-16, 25-18, 25-14 winner over Rossford in an NBC match.

North Baltimore loses
In North Baltimore, North Baltimore fell to Old Fort 25-22, 25-21, 25-21 in a Midland Athletic League match.
Leaders for the Tigers were: Olivia Frost, 10 blocks, six kills, 11 digs; Jasmine Bretz, nine digs; and Chelsea Stewart, five kills, three digs.

Hopewell Loudon 165,
North Baltimore 179, New Riegel 203
At Seneca Hills, Jacob Frost's round of 43 led North Baltimore to a second place finish in a triangular.
Also scoring for the Tigers were: Garrett Boyer and Chad Wright, 45; and Brock Boyer, 46.

Arcadia 180, Otsego 196
At Lakeland Golf Course, Samson Dunmyer's medalist round of 41 was not enough to propel Otsego over Arcadia in a nonleague dual match.
Also scoring or the Knights were: Colin Bigenho, 49; Brian Frail, 52; and Mitchell Miles, 54.

BOYS
North Baltimore second
In Riverdale, North Baltimore's boys team's sixth-place tiebreaker gave it a second-place finish in a quadrangular.
NB totaled 57 points, while Van Buren won the event with 16 points.
Scoring for the Tigers were: Tyler Stimmel, seventh, 20:39; AJ Hotaling, ninth, 20:59; Nathan Flores, 12th, 21:27; Caleb Swope, 13th, 21:33; and Cody Gerdeman, 16th, 22:26.

GIRLS
North Baltimore competes
In Riverdale, North Baltimore's girls participated in a quadrangular, although there was no team scoring except for the winner, Van Buren.
The Tigers do not have enough runners to field a full team.
Running in the meet for NB were: Megan Ernsberger, fifth, 25:45; Taylor Grilliot, sixth, 26:33; and Mariah Leonard, eighth, 26:43.

Napoleon beats BGHS
Napoleon defeated Bowling Green, 3-2, in a NLL match.

Junior varsity results

BOYS
At Chippewa Golf Course, Bowling Green was first in a quadrangular, shooting a 165. Lake (187) and Eastwood (201) were second and third, respectively.
Alex Messenger led the Bobcats with a 37, while Jake Middaugh's 43 paced Lake, and Landon Richards' 49 led the Eagles.

VOLLEYBALL
Rossford beat Elmwood, 25-10, 25-16.
North Baltimore beat Old Fort, 25-16, 34-36, 25-22.
Perrysburg beat Springfield, 25-7, 25-11.

Junior High results
CROSS COUNTRY
North Baltimore's boys team finished second with 36 points at Riverdale, in a quadrangular meet. Julian Hagemyer led the Tigers, finishing fourth in 14:36.
North Baltimore's girls competed in the quadrangular. Marina Kimmel was third, finishing in 16:24.

SEVENTH GRADE
FOOTBALL
Gibsonburg's team, combined of seventh and eighth graders, beat Eastwood's seventh grade team, 12-0.
Joel Stanely, Brody Patterson and Bradley Koperski each had fumble recoveries for the Eagles, and Reid Buchman had an interception.
