Eastwood’s boys basketball team improved to 12-5 overall Tuesday in a 73-45 Northern Buckeye Conference
win over Woodmore.
Jake Schmeltz and Zach Jacoby scored 18 points each to lead the Eagles.
In other boys games it was: Lake 75, Rossford 69; Anthony Wayne 50, Perrysburg 49; Napoleon 52, Bowling
Green 50; Elmwood 75, Genoa 68; Otsego 51, Fostoria 42; Danbury 50, Northwood 40; and Carey 77, North
Baltimore 45.
In girls games it was: Genoa 49, Otsego, 34; Oak Harbor 58, Lakota 24; and Northwood 47, Emmanuel
Christian 23.

In Luckey, Grant Peters added 12 points in the NBC win.
Eastwood is 8-3 in the conference.
Elmwood 75, Genoa 68
In Jerry City, Jarrett Childress scored 26 points and teammate Aaron Arnold had a triple-double with 17
points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in Elmwood’s NBC win.
Elmwood is 5-14 and 4-7.
Genoa’s Luke Rightnowar scored 22 points.
Otsego 51, Fostoria 42
In Fostoria, Jalen Myers scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Otsego’s NBC victory.
Otsego (8-10, 5-6), was helped by Josh Horseman who registered 11 rebounds, and Schyler Scherff who
scored 10 points.
Carey 77, North Baltimore 45,
In Carey, Jacob Frost scored 18 points in North Baltimore’s Midland Athletic League loss.
NB is 7-11 overall and 2-6 in the MAL.
Danbury 50, Northwood 40
In Lakeside, Northwood scored eight points each in the first three quarters.
Dillan Cathers scored 16 points for the Rangers (1-16, 0-12) in a Toledo Area Athletic Conference game.

In Tontogany, Otsego trailed 32-17 at halftime of the NBC game.
Morgan Smoyer led the Knights (10-11,7-6) with 10 points.

Lakota 24
In Oak Harbor, Lakota scored one point in the final quarter its nonleague game.
Northwood 47,
Emmanuel Christian 23
In Northwood, Allison Roach scored 10 points to lead Northwood (6-15, 5-8) to a TAAC victory.
The Rangers out-scored Emmanuel 18-1 in the third quarter.

Perrysburg beat Bowling Green, 41-36 in overtime. Perrysburg’s leading scorer was Nadeen Jemaa with 19
points. Perrysburg is 7-0, 3-0 in NLL.

Lake defeated Elmwood, 44-35. Leaders for Elmwood were Austin Moses, Clay Stearns and Brock Reinhard.
Eastwood beat Rossford, 46-25. Tyler Schmeltz, Alex Ross, Tyler Haas, and Dalton Andrews led Eastwood.
