Diehl's record 75 leads Perrysburg girls to win
Katie Diehl shot a school-record 75 Thursday to help Perrysburg's girls golf team win a four-team match at Eagle Creek in Norwalk.
The Yellow Jackets shot a 334 total to defeat Anthony Wayne 380, Norwalk 393 and Sandusky Perkins 404.
Perrysburg's other scores were: Monica Dorner, 84; Sonia Krolak, 87; and Madison Williams, 88.
Elmwood beats Danbury
At the Oak Harbor Golf Club, Taylor Carr had the medalist round with a 46 to lead Elmwood to a 206-232 non-league win over Danbury
Elmwood's other scores were: Savannah Baker, 48; Sierra Semko, 54; and Alexis Miller, 58.
Elmwood's record is 2-0.
Eastwood finishes fourth
At Maumee Bay Golf Course in Oregon, Eastwood's boys finished fourth, Rossford was fifth and Perrysburg was sixth in the 15-team Cardinal Stritch Invitational.
Eastwood shot 340, Rossford had a 344 and Perrysburg carded a 354. Central Catholic won with a 335.
Eastwood's scores were: Steven Bruning, 79; David Krukemyer, 85; and Nick Coffman and Kyle Waynick, both 88.
Rossford's scores were: Mason Robinson, 79; Ryan Niese, 80; Brian Burks, 92; and Mack Miller, 93.
Perrysburg's scores were: Lain Seyer, 79; Ronnie Stough, 89; and Mitchel Skotynsky, and Blake Harves, both 93.
Perrysburg 4, Clay 1
In Perrysburg, the Yellow Jackets swept the singles matches on the way to a nonleague win at the Perrysburg Tennis Center.
Erica Fastnacht, Moira Sams and Nora Abdul-Aziz won singles matches for the Yellow Jackets, and the doubles team of Kennedy Northcutt and Camryn Kiel also won.
Junior varsity results
Perrysburg beat Eastwood, 375-422. Perrysburg's Matt Hayes was the medalist with a 91, while Eatwood's Joe Boyk had a 97.
