Bowling Green’s baseball team totaled 14 hits en route to a 16-0 win over Lima Senior in a Division I
district tournament game at Carter Park. PHOTO GALLERY
The Bobcats scored twice in the first inning and added to their lead in every at-bat to end the game
after 4¬? innings via the 10-run mercy rule.
Ten Bobcats had at least one hit, 10 players scored at least once and nine players had at least one RBI.

BG’s leading hitters were: Ricky Riggs, 2-for-3, three runs, RBI; Jeremy Chambers, 2-for-3, double, run,
RBI; Spencer Shultz, 2-for-2, run, three RBI; and Mason Apple, 2-for-2, two doubles, two runs, RBI.
The Bobcats’ Andy Fisher pitched a one-hitter, striking out 13 and walking one.
BG, 12-10 overall, visits Findlay in its next tournament game Thursday night at 5.
DIVISION III
Otsego 7, Northwood 0
In Tontogany, Otsego’s Hunter Carson pitched a three-hitter, striking out seven and walking one.
Jon Thomas was 2-for-3 with two runs for the Knights, while Collin Kitchen and Joe Brown both had a
double and an RBI. Brown also scored.
The Knights visit Archbold Thursday night at 5.
Elmwood 10, Delta 1
In Jerry City, Elmwood had 10 hits.
Trevor Solether was 3-for-4 for the Royals, who visit Swanton Thursday night at 5.
Genoa 6, Eastwood 5
In Genoa, the Comets scored four times in the third and twice in the fourth to erase a 1-0 deficit.
DIVISION IV
Lakota 2,
Ashland Crestview 0
In Ashland, Lakota’s Nick Watts pitched a three-hitter, striking out nine and walking none.
Dakota Gilbert and Watts both were 2-for-3, with Watts also scoring.

St. Francis, 4, BGHS 1
In Toledo Friday, St. Francis swept the singles and added a doubles victory for a second-round win in the
state team tournament at Laurel Hill.
