Bowling Green's Peter Burroughs qualified for the finals in the 100 breast stroke at the Division II state swimming and diving championships.
A senior, Burroughs had the sixth-fastest time, a 59.03, in Thursday's preliminaries at the meet in Canton. He will swim in the finals tonight. The top eight in each event earn All-Ohio honors.
Burroughs is swimming in the consolation finals of the 200 individual medley tonight after qualifying ninth in 1:57.63.
Eastwood's Hannah Keiser was 21st in the 200 individual medley preliminaries in 2:15.28 and teammate Alyssa Decker was 23rd in the 100 butterfly in 1:00.82.
Bowling Green's Emmy Sehmann competes in the preliminaries of the Division I 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle today. The Division I finals are Saturday.

Junior high results
Bowling Green beat Sylvania Timberstone, 28-12 to improve to 4-7 on the year. Holly Roe and Cailyn Overhulse each scored eight points for the Bobcats.
Perrysburg beat Arbor Hills, 46-6, to improve to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the Northern Lakes League. Kathleen Beer scored seven points for Perrysburg while Jessica Bragg, Claire Chapman, Dakari Parish-Baker each had six points.
Perrysburg beat Arbor Hills, 46-32. Mariah Copeland scored 19 points for Perrysburg.
Bowling Green beat Sylvania Timberstone, 33-13. Leaders for the Bobcats where Maddie Dunn, Kendal Glandorff, Julia Maas, Allie Hart, and Cassidy Yarnell. BG is 10-1 overall and 4-0 in the NLL.
Eastwood beat Lake, 31-21. Leading scorer for Lake, 9-6, was Dylan O'Quinn with 10 points.
Lake improved to 12-3 overall with a 36-28 win over Eastwood. Jimmy Urias and Jordan Bekier each scored 10 points for Lake.
Elmwood defeated Genoa, 48-22. Leaders for Elmwood were: Tayte Lentz,  Andy Curtis,  Andrew Arnold and Nate Uzelac.
