The Bowling Green High School swimming team opened its season with wins over Ayersville.
BG's boys posted a 49-42 victory, and the Bobcat girls recorded a 108-32 win.
Corey Gilbert won the 200 individual medley (2:17.22) and 100 backstroke (1:04.92) and Trae Gulgin won the 100 butterfly (1:01.57) and 100 freestyle (55.74) for Bowling Green while Andrew Watson won the 200 freestyle (2:24.44). Gulgin, Watson, Gilbert and Cole DeWulf combined to win the 200 medley (1:58.18).
In the girls meet, the Bobcats won six individual events and three relays.
BG's winners were: Mallory Glenn, 100 freestyle (1:00.54) and 100 backstroke (1:13.06); Emmy Sehmann, 50 freestyle (24.80) and 500 freestyle (5:12.79); Emma Cavins, 200 individual medley (2:33.15); Cate Longmore-Micham, 100 breast stroke (1:24.74); the 200 medley relay team of Jessica Crook, Glenn, Paityn Dishop, and Larissa Leck (2:10.05); the 200 freestyle team of Dishop, Longmore-Micham, Cavins, and Sehmann; and the 400 freestyle relay team of Cavins, Longmore-Micham, Sehmann, and Glenn (4:02.66).

GIRLS
McComb 62, Elmwood 56
In Jerry City, Nora Hemminger scored 21 points and Emily Clymer added 20 tp help McComb beat Elmwood Monday.
Samantha Ervin scored 19 points for the Royals, 4-3, while Kristen Curtis scored 15 points. Marissa Swavel had five rebounds, five assists, and two steals for the Royals.

Rossford 66, Swanton 57
In Rossford, Julie Hotz scored 21 points to help the Bulldogs improve to 5-3 with the nonleague win.
Cheyenne Davis added 11 points for Rossford.

BOYS
Rossford wins
Rossford defeated Port Clinton, 2,869-2,792 to improve to 4-1 overall.
Mason Robinson led the Bulldogs with a 431, and Karl Hermes had a 408.

GIRLS
Rossford loses
Port Clinton defeated Rossford, 1-4 overall, 2,498-2,175.
Taylor Moore led Rossford with a 323.

Junior varsity results
BOWLING
BOYS
Rossford beat Port Clinton, 2,020-1,874. TJ Desmond had a 340 for Rossford.
