Southview defeated Bowling Green, 205-253 in Northern Lakes League girls golf action
Monday at Bowling Green Country Club.
BG’s scorers were: Erica Rybak, 52; Erin Peterson, 54; Alisha Noon, 59; and Mickayla
Thomson, 88.
Perrysburg 175,
Northview 178
At White Pines, Perrysburg posted a three-stoke NLL win over Northview.
Perrysburg’s scorers were: Monica Dorner, 36; Katie Krieger, 45; Kendra Wolf, 46; and
Madison Williams and Katie Diehl, 48 each.
Mohawk 222, Elmwood 232
At Lincoln Hills, Mohawk posted a 10-stoke win in the nonleague match. Elmwood is 5-4
overall.
Elmwood’s scorers were: Savannah Baker, 53; Taylor Carr, 58; Sierra Semko, 59; and
Alexis Miller, 62.
Rossford finishes third
In a Northwest Ohio Girls Golf League triangular at Ottawa Park, Cardinal Stritch
finished with a 220, Toledo Central Catholic was at 221 and Rossford shot 234.

Rossford’s scorers were: Maalaea Newell and Shannon Parisi, 53 each; Donna Scott, 54;
and Emily Rodgers, 74.
GIRLS SOCCER
Perrysburg 4, Notre Dame 0
Perrysburg improved to 6-0 with its shutout of Toledo Notre Dame. The Yellow Jackets
are ranked No. 1 in the state.
Maddy Williams, Abby Sattler, Mollie Whitacre and Beth Glowacki scored goals for the
Yellow Jackets and Lindy DeLong had an assist.
Sam Schrader, one save, and Sarah Baer, five saves, shared time in goal for
Perrysburg.
Perrysburg hosts Anthony Wayne, ranked No. 8 in the state, on Wednesday at Steinecker
Stadium at Perrysburg Junior High. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
Lake 4, Southview 1
In Millbury, Lake improved to 6-1 overall with its non-league win over Southview.
Shelby Antonacci scored two goals and added as assist for Lake while Kayla Encalado
had a goal and an assist. Jordyn Taylor also scored for Lake while Nicole Jones
and Alyssa Shaffer each had an assist.
Ashley Timmons made 10 saves for Lake.

BGHS goes 1-2 in recent games
In three recent games, Bowling Green’s girls soccer team went 1-2 and is 2-5 overall.

Anthony Wayne beat BG, 3-0 and Archbold beat the Bobcats, 2-1. Kaleigh Strausbaugh
scored for BG in the loss to Archbold and Josie Benson made 13 saves against AW
and 11 against Archbold.
In a 6-0 win over Toledo Whitmer, Kassie Memmer scored three goals and had three
assists for BG. Brittany Lowe, Livvy Dill and Priscilla Perez each added one
goal. Strausbaugh had two assists and Lowe had one. Benson made seven saves.
BOYS GOLF
Ottawa Hills 149,
Northwood 229
At Chippewa, Ottawa Hills won the Toledo Area Athletic Conference dual meet.
Northwood’s scorers were: Conan Lutes, 54; Dustin Sigurdson and Ryan Schumaker, 57
each; and Dylan Makowski, 61.
NB 171, Hopewell-Loudon 172, Elmwood 203
At Loudon Meadows, North Baltimore won a non-league triangular Monday.
NB’s Cory Bean was the medalist with a 37. Other NB scorers were: Brock Boyer, 39;
Garrett Boyer, 47; and Rachel Peters, 48.
Elmwood’s scorers were: Kayleb Stuff, 48; Trevor Robbins, 50; Brad Corbin, 52; and
Marc Day, 53.
VOLLEYBALL
Clay downs Eastwood
In Oregon, Clay rallied to defeat Eastwood, 18-25, 25-17, 17-25, 25-23, 15-12 in a
non-league match. The Eagles are 6-1 overall.
Eastwood’s leaders were: Allison Sutton, seven kills; Aricka LaVoy, 27 digs; Brooke
Salazar, two aces, three kills, 17 digs; Cassidy Rolf, one ace, two kills, four
digs; Elise Wolff, 10 kills, 14 digs; Jaci Juergens, 21 assists; and Mackenzie
Albright, seven aces.
Evergreen beats Lake
Evergreen defeated Lake, 25-15, 25-22, 25-18, in a nonleague volleyball match.
Lake’s leaders were: Emily Bella, nine digs; Sara Dabney, 13 kills; Renee Mata, seven
kills; Kindsay Parsons, five digs; Kaity Walker, three kills; Sammy Whiteman, 13
digs; and Courtney Maunz, six digs.
Arcadia downs Rossford
Arcadia beat Rossford, 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.
Rossford’s leaders were: Mikhala Dunne, 22 assists; Karly Durco, nine digs, two
kills; Julie Hotz, six kills, seven digs, three blocks; Margo Jackson, eight
digs; Maggie Leahy, eight kills, eight digs; and Cassie Sarabia, 17 kills, six

Toledo Central Catholic won all three singles matches on the way to the nonleague

Woodmore beat Eastwood, 179-190. Matt White led Eastwood with a 40.

VOLLEYBALL
Anthony Wayne defeated Bowling Green, 22-25, 25-16, 25-22. BG’s leaders were: Devin
LaPolt and Kinsey Kale, aces; Kale, digs; LaPlot, assists; and Brianna Finger,
kills.
FOOTBALL
Eastwood beat Genoa, 35-12. Mitchell Davidson scored three times for Eastwood, on a
70-yard run, on a 30-yard pass from Zach Thompson, and on a 35-yard fumble
return. Hunter Sutton scored on a 45-yard pass from Thompson and Jacob Skriber
scored on an 8-yard run. Thompson was 5-of-5 passing. Lucas McCullough kicked
five PATs.
