Sasha Lanning finished second to lead Bowling Green to a fourth-place finish in the girls Division I-B race at the Tiffin Carnival cross country meet at Hedges-Boyer Park. The Bobcats had 143 points. Lanning's time was 19:54. Completing BG's top five were: Jessi Patton, sixth, 20:00; Abri Dubler, 27th, 21:34; Morgan Akenberger, 48th, 22:07; and Susan Johnson, 68th, 22:31. In girls Division I-A, Perrysburg was 29th with 619 points. Perrysburg's top five were: Taylor Monheim, 37th, 19:55; Katie Menke, 104th, 21:01; Amanda Poll, 148th, 21:39; Emily Henry, 153rd, 21:43; and Jessica Bohnenkamp, 177th, 22:09. In girls Division II-B, Maddie Jackson was second in 20:20 and Meagan Kaminski was sixth in 20:52 to help Eastwood to a ninth-place finish with 236 points. Also from Wood County, Otsego was 21st with 588 and Rossford was 28th with 808. Completing Eastwood's top five were: McKayla Phillips, 60th, 22:40; Lexi Clark, 73rd, 22:57; and Kayla Bierley, 96th, 23:22. Otsego's top five were: Dayna Fackler, 17th, 21:42; Marissa DiBartolomeo, 124th, 24:04; Adeline Smith, 129th, 24:06; Brittany Hendricks, 163rd, 25:45; and Alexandria Stough, 167th, 20:00. Rossford's top five were: Jessica Piertrasz, 118th, 23:51; Elizabeth Parisi, 138th, 24:29; Maddie York, 180th, 26:59; Samantha Strohm, 192nd, 27:31; and Becca Fuerst, 204th, 29:47; In girls Division II-A, Lake was 24th with 637 points. Lake's top five were: Amber Soncrant, 93rd, 22:55; Vanessa Warton, 103rd, 23:12; Marissa Boos, 134th, 24:12; Alana Smith, 154th, 25:17; and Adriana Cannon, 158th, 25:34. In girls Division III, Lakota was 43rd with 1,034 points. Lakota's top five were: Cariss Reese, 39th, 20:45; Morgan Lowery, 193rd, 24:05; Barbara Sprauer, 260th, 25:45; Madison Bonifacio, 281st, 26:32; and Amber Seiner, 291st, 26:56. In boys Division I-A, Perrysburg was 20th with 518 points. Perrysburg's top five were: Bryant Byrd, 42nd, 16:39; Bobby Borger, 60th, 16:54; Calvin Parker, 120th, 17:30; Andrew Bayes, 131st, 17:36; and Troy Maurer, 165th, 17:59. In boys Division I-B, BG was 19th with 441 points. In boys Division II, Otsego was 24th with 667 points, Lake was 25th with 697 and Eastwood was 31st with 792. Otsego's top five were: Brandon Avers, 17th, 17:01; Jordy Ghesquiere, 122nd, 18:36; Fred Balmoria, 159th, 19:07; Derek Morgan, 171st, 19:19; and Caleb Baus, 198th, 19:37. Lake's top five were: Tyler Rickman, 25th, 17:10; Scott Brittenham, 35th, 17:23; Orfrancis Ozuna, 116th, 18:33; Aaron Witt, 260th, 21:06; and Nick Walters, 261st, 21:07. Eastwood's top five were: Gabe Fredericks, 56th, 17:52; Noah Smith, 58th, 17:54; Samuel Church, 133rd, 18:47; Jake Poiry, 269th, 21:27; and Ridge Simon, 276th, 21:39. In boys Division III-B, Lakota was 13th with 364 points. Lakota's top five were: Luke Baker, 54th, 19:10; Isaac Ritter, 61st, 19:17; Zac Baker, 63rd, 19:23; Caleb Tolento, 77th, 19:35; and Tyler Aldrich, 109th, 20:13. BOYS CROSS COUNTRY Elmwood finishes fourth Elmwood finished fourth in the 15-team Black Division of the Spencerville Invitational. The Royals had 145 points. Elmwood's top five were: Lorne Strausbaugh, fourth, 17:21; Alex Jasso, 19th, 18:25; Josh Mathias, 30th, 18:50; Andrew Jasso, 40th, 19:16; and Chris Goodrich, 55th, 19:35. GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY Elmwood places fourth Elmwood had 130 points to finish fourth in the 16-team Black Division of the Spencerville Invitational. Elmwood's top five were: Jessica Murlin, 16th, 22:18; Miranda Wagner, 21st, 22:34; Brittany Gross, 23rd, 22:38; Emma Krassow, 32nd, 23:03; and Madison Reinhard, 23:34. |
