Northwood clinched a tie for the Toledo Area Athletic Conference championship Friday with a 27-7 victory over Ottawa Hills.
The Rangers, 6-0 in the TAAC with one game remaining, can earn the outright title by beating Cardinal Stritch at home next Friday.
In other games, it was: Eastwood 63, Fostoria 0; Woodmore 36, Otsego 35; Genoa 59, Elmwood 0; Lake 48, Rossford 20; Bowling Green 31, Maumee 21; Perrysburg 42, Springfield 19; Seneca East 54, Lakota 12; and Fremont St. Joseph 44, North Baltimore 8.


Northwood 27, Ottawa Hills 7
In Ottawa Hills, Dominik Bermejo scored on runs of 12, 24 and 42 yards to help Northwood erase a 7-0 deficit.
Bermejo had nine carries for 58 yards as Northwood (7-2 overall) rushed for 181 yards and passed 80 yards.
OH (3-6, 3-3) totaled 164 yards rushing and 145 yards passing, but was limited to the one TD.
Myles Habel’s fumble recovery set up one Ranger TD and Bermejo’s 39-yard kickoff return led to another.

Eastwood 63, Fostoria 0
In Fostoria, 15th-ranked Eastwood totaled 521 yards — all on the ground — to improve to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the Northern Buckeye Conference.
Devin Snowden rushed five times for 150 yards, scoring on runs of 10, 37 and 72 yards. He also scored on a 69-yard kickoff return.
Fostoria (0-9, 0-6) had 28 yards rushing and 52 yards passing.

Genoa 59, Elmwood 0
In Genoa, David Nutter rushed for 187 yards and three TDs, and Casey Gose added 101 yards rushing and three TDs as the third-ranked Comets remained undefeated.
Genoa (9-0, 6-0) clinched a tie for the NBC championship. It can win the outright title by beating Woodmore next week.
Elmwood (1-8, 1-5) had 124 yards rushing and 14 yards passing.

Woodmore 36, Otsego 35
In Elmore, Jake Matwiejczyk threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Evan Ulinski with 27 seconds remaining to give Woodmore an NBC win.
Otsego owned a 35-30 lead on Cody Downs’ 19-yard run with 2:42 left, but the conversion pass failed.
Woodmore took the ensuing kickoff and drove for the winning score.
Matwiejczyk completed 16-of-30 passes for 278 yards and ran 25 times for 112 yards. Ulinski caught 10 passes for 175 yards and three TDs.
The Wildcats (6-3, 3-3) had 438 total yards, while Otsego (4-5, 2-4) totaled 412 yards.
Downs was 15-of-22 passes for 164 yards and ran 21 times for 152 yards, while Cole Gorski had nine catches for 127 yards.

Seneca East 54, Lakota 12
In Attica, Seneca East totaled 540 yards and allowed just 158 to improve to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the Midland Athletic League.
Lakota is 2-7, 0-6.

Fremont St. Joseph 44,
North Baltimore 8
In North Baltimore, St. Joseph rolled up 498 yards and gave up just 129 to move to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the MAL.
Taylor Bishop rushed 11 times for 74 yards, including an 11-yard TD run, for NB (2-7, 0-6).
