COLUMBUS — Perrysburg’s Jeffrey Schorsch lost in the quarterfinals of the Division I state high school tennis tournament Friday at Ohio State University.
The senior was a 6-4, 6-4 loser to Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit junior Aaron Sandberg.
Schorsch opened the tournament with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Cincinnati Sycamore freshman Alex Taylor.
Schorsch finished the season 27-2 in singles play. He was competing at state for the fourth time, including a fourth-place finish last season.
