Otsego's Brandon Avers was the individual champion Saturday in the Division II boys district high school cross country meet at Widewater Park in Liberty Center.
Avers won in 15:50 to help Otsego finish second as a team.
In all regionals involving Wood County schools, the top four teams and 16 individuals advanced to next Saturday's regional at Hedges-Boyer Park in Tiffin.
Following is a roundup of the results involving county schools:

At Pearson Park
In Oregon, Perrysburg finished third with 100 points and Bowling Green was sixth with 142.
Perrysburg's top five were: Andrew Bayes, sixth, 16:51; Parker Calvin, 16th, 17:09; Bobby Borger, 19th, 17:13; Hunter Frydenlund, 27th, 17:29; and Anthony Glorioso, 32nd, 17:34.
BG's top five were: Lucas Overmyer, eighth, 16:56; Michael Shilling, 24th, 17:25; Bret Horn, 31st, 17:33; Grant Stierwalt, 39th, 17:51; and Mitchell Gardner, 40th, 17:56.

At Widewater Park
In Liberty Center, Otsego was second with 58 points, Lake was sixth with 117 and Rossford was ninth with 277.
Completing Otsego's top five were: Seth Harnishfeger, seventh, 16:50; Caleb Baus, 10th, 17:00; Derek Morgan, 20th, 17:24; and Jordy Ghesquiere, 22nd, 17:25.
Lake's top five were: Tyler Rickman, fifth, 16:21; Scott Brittenham, 15th, 17:05; Orfrancis Ozuna, 27th, 17:44; Nick Walters, 35th, 18:09; and Aaron Witt, 41st, 18:25.
Rossford's top five were: Nolan York, 50th, 18:50; Taylor Smale, 55th, 19:04; Martin Linthicum, 70th, 23:50; Harrison Finn, 71st, 24:26; and Mat Myers, 72nd, 24:29.

At Ottawa
Memorial Park
In Ottawa, Eastwood finished third with 68 points.
The Eagles' top five were: Tim Hoodlebrink, seventh, 16:59; Gabe Fredericks, 10th, 17:12; Sam Church, 15th, 17:31; Noah Smith, 16th, 17:36; and Josh Harper, 20th, 18:08.

At Amman's Park
In Galion, Elmwood finished third with 74 points and Lakota was sixth with 180.
Elmwood's top five were: Cheyne Jenkins, fifth, 17:52; Josh Mathias, eighth, 17:59; Chris Goodrich, 11th, 18:14; Andrew Jasso, 21st, 18:31; and Matthew Wagner, 29th, 19:02.
Lakota's top five were: Luke Baker, 15th, 18:16; David Mason, 32nd, 19:12; Caleb Tolento, 39th, 19:29; Isaac Ritter, 45th, 19:43; and Matthew Steiner, 49th, 19:56.

At Ottawa
Memorial Park
In Ottawa, North Baltimore finished 12th with 310 points.
The Tigers' top five were: Nathan Flores, 48th, 20:02; A.J. Hotaling, 57th, 20:42; Tanner Gray-DuVall, 59th, 20:50; Tyler Stimmel, 66th, 21:16; and Andrew Shelton, 83rd, 23:13.
