Northwood's Fahrbach qualifies for state golf PDF Print E-mail

Northwood's Louis Fahrbach advanced to the state golf tournament after shooting a 79 at the Division III district tournament at Stone Ridge Thursday.
Fahrbach finished tied for second among players not on a qualifying team.
Fremont St. Joseph's Connor Dudley shot a 78 to finish first among players not on a qualify team. Wes Krummery of Upper Scioto Valley also shot a 79 and Ottoville's Jordan Schimmoeller shot an 81 to advance as individuals.
The top four teams and top four individual scorers not on a qualifying team advance to the state tournament at Ohio State University's Scarlet Course Oct. 16-17.
Also from the county, Elmwood's Kyle Smithey shot a 93 and North Baltimore's Marcello Trevino shot a 97.

Lake takes ninth
At Sycamore Springs, Lake finished ninth out of nine teams with a 369. Bryan was first at 323 and Genoa was second at 330.
Shelby's Tyler Korbas (76) and Van Wert's Blake Doidge (77) advanced individually.
The top two teams and top two individuals advanced to the state tournament.
Scores for Lake were: Casey Witt, 80; Nate Yeager, 92; Casey Conine, 93; and Nate Lowe, 104.
Eastwood's Jon Juergens shot an 82.
