Lakota’s Dull finishes tied for fifth at state (10-13-12)

COLUMBUS — Lakota’s Makayla Dull finished in a three-way tie for fifth place in the Division II girls
state high school golf tournament.
The sophomore shot a 7-over-par 77 during Saturday’s final round to finish with a 156 total at Ohio State
University’s Gray Course. She had a 38 on the front nine and 39 on the back nine.
Dull entered the day in eighth place after shooting a 79 Friday.
Sandusky Perkins senior Maddy Mullins was the champion with a 149 total, beating
Dayton Miami Valley junior Sarah Kolodzik by two strokes.
Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown senior Ashley Yarbrough was third at 155 and Williamsport Westfall junior
Breanna Post was fourth with 156.
It was the second top 10 finish at state for Dull, who finished 10th as a freshman last season.
