From staff and wire reportsCOLUMBUS – Lake’s Mark Emans was the Division IV coach of the year
on the Northwest Ohio all-district high school football team announced Thursday night.The Flyers, in Emans’
first season, finished 8-3 overall and were third in the Northern Buckeye Conference with a 5-2 record.Lake
advanced to the state playoffs for the first time since 2001 and its 8-2 regular season was its first since
2001.The Flyers were 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the NBC in 2012.DIVISION IIPerrysburg had four players on the
first-team – offensive lineman Cale Bonner, quarterback Gus Dimmerling, linebacker Mark Delas and defensive
back Matt Mesker.The Yellow Jackets had two players on the second-team, offensive lineman Luke Adams and
defenseman lineman JP Newton.Former Bowling Green Falcon Chioke Bradley was named co-coach of the year. He
guided Mansfield Senior to an 11-1 record, the only loss coming in the second round of the playoffs.DIVISION
IVLake had three players on the first-team, receiver Adam Duncan, linebacker Nick Walsh and defensive back
Jared Rettig.Five county players were named to the second-team.They were running back Dylan Losiewicz,
linebacker Ryan Reed and defensive back Noah Asmus of Rossford; receiver Cole Gorski of Otsego; and lineman
Tyler Harp of Lake.DIVISION VEastwood had three players on the first-team, offensive lineman Jacob Rahe,
defensive lineman Michael Glaze and linebacker Grant Geiser.Eagle running back Devin Snowden was named to
the second-team.DIVISION VINorthwood had two players on the first-team, running back Dominik Bermejo and
kicker Jacob Vickers.Four Rangers were on the second-team -offensive lineman Myles Habel, defensive lineman
Kyle Corbitt, linebacker Dylan Napier and defensive back Jake Davenport.HONORABLE MENTION• Eastwood –
Brennan Seifert.• Elmwood – Sawyer Haines and Aaron Arnold.• Lake – Todd Walters and Austin Hess.• Lakota –

Whitmore, Luke Laviolette and Kyle Kirchner.• Otsego – Cody Downs.• Perrysburg – Nate Patterson, Matt
Kaczinski, Seth Durham and Chaz Westfall.• Rossford – Steven Carey, Josh Maas, Aaron Kolbe and Nate
Childress.The team was selected by members of the media, but the Sentinel-Tribune doesn’t have a vote in the
