Eastwood’s and Elmwood’s boys track and field teams both won meet championships Friday night.
Eastwood won its own Larry Kohring Relays, while Elmwood won the Gibsonburg Invitational.

BOYS
Eastwood finishes first
Eastwood’s boys won seven events and totaled 131 points to win the eight team meet.
Also from Wood County, Perrysburg tied for sixth with 39 points, and Bowling Green was eighth with 14.
Eastwood’s winners were:
• 1,600 sprint medley relay, team of Grant Geiser, Joel Black, Jake Hoodlebrink and Gabe Fredericks, 3:42.74.
• 100, Isaiah Conkle, 11.34.
• 440 shuttle hurdles relay, team of Zach Jacoby, Devin Snowden, Joey Salinas and Blake Kohring, 58.96 (meet record).
• 300 hurdles, Salinas, 40.28.
• High jump relay, Steven Bradley (6-0), Jake Hoodlebrink (6-0) and Derek Snowden (6-0).
• Long jump relay, Devin Snowden (22-51⁄2), Derek Snowden (21-71⁄2) and Jake Hoodlebrink (21-71⁄4).
• Triple jump, Derek Snowden, 40-3.

GIRLS
Eastwood, Perrysburg tie for second place
Eastwood and Perrysburg tied for second place with 85 points, while Bowling Green was fourth with 82.
Liberty-Benton won with  119.
Eastwood’s winning relay teams were:
• 400 shuttle hurdles, team of Elise Wolff, Kaleigh Obrock, Maddie Cherry and Liz Hirzel, 71.23.
• Long jump, team of Aricka LaVoy (16-91⁄4), Hannah Firsdon (15-51⁄2) and Brianna Hoodlebrink (14-101⁄2).
Perrysburg’s Courtney Clody won the 1,600 in 5:18.57.
The Yellow Jackets’ winning relay teams were:
• 1,600 sprint medley, team of Jordan Doore, Hannah Bakies, Grace Reddick and Emily Wyrick, 4:20.80.
• Distance medley, team of Katie Menke, Allison Morrison, Emily Henry and Taylor Monheim, 13:30.07.
• 1,600 relay, team of Clody, Doore, Reddick and Wyrick, 4:08.03.
BG’s winners were:
• 800 relay, team of Kyrha Hollins, Jessi Patton, Brittany Lowe and Maria Horrigan, 1:49.64.
• High jump, team of Hollins (5-0), Katie Dible (4-8) and Ciara Kirkbride (4-4).
• Pole vault, team of Horrigan (11-6), Rachel Clark (8-6) and Logan Godlewski (6-0).

BOYS
Elmwood finishes first
Elmwood won six events and totaled 154 points to win the 11-team meet.
Also from the county, Lake was third with 122, Rossford was sixth with 541⁄2, Northwood was 10th with eight and North Baltimore was 11th with 4.
Elmwood’s individual winners were: Michael Meeker, shot put, 49-61⁄4 (meet record, previous record was 48-61⁄4 set in 2012); Aaron Arnold, long jump, 20-23⁄4; Michael Baer, pole vault, 10-0; and Lorne Strausbaugh, 1,600, 4:40.83.
Elmwood also won two relays.
The 3,200 team of Andrew Jasso, Strausbaugh, Josh Mathias and Alex Jasso won in 8:32.46.
The 1,600 team of Austin Jasso, Arnold, Derick Mobus and Alex Jasso won in 3:38.95.
Lake’s Mitchell Adkins won the discus (149-8).
Rossford’s Ryan Clay won the 800 in 2:01.03 to break the meet record of 2:01.10 set in 2010.

GIRLS
Lake finishes third
Lake scored 97.5 points to finish third.
Also from the county, Elmwood was fourth with 92, Rossford was fifth with 73, North Baltimore was seventh with 331⁄2 and Northwood was ninth with 29.
Elmwood’s Courtney Emmitt won the pole vault (8-6).
Lake won two events. Katie Swartz won the 100 hurdles in 17.04; and the Flyers’ 400 relay team of Rebecca Boos, Ashley Timmons, Jordyn Taylor and Nicole Pennington won in 51.93 to break the meet record of 52.30 set in 2012.
Rossford won two relays.
The 800 team of Taylor Stolar, Jessie Pietrasz, Erica Stolar and Courtney Morris won in 1:51.64; and the 1,600 team of Shelby Redway, Pietrasz, Morris and Erica Stolar won in 4:21.08.
Northwood’s Olivia Carbe won the 1,600 in 5:50.46.
