County players picked for Perrysburg all-star game (06-29-12) PDF Print E-mail

PERRYSBURG - Nineteen athletes from Wood County high schools have been selected to play in the annual regional all-star football game at Steinecker Stadium in Perrysburg.
The game is July 20 with kickoff at 7 p.m.
Selected to play for the Gold team are: Bowling Green's Justin Christoff and Derek Schroeder; Otsego's Brandon Chesney, Nate Downs, Ryan Fackler and Tyler Teets; Perrysburg's Micah Carter, Tyler Gordon, Forrest Manning and Alex Morse; and Rossford's Steve Everitt, Kyle Handley and Michael Jarosz.
Selected to play for the Black team are: Lake's Dylan Hirzel, Nathan Pennington and Zach Sharpe; and Northwood's Fletcher Isaacs, Andrew Lord and Tyler Mack.
Zack Smith, the wide receivers coach at Ohio State University, will speak to the players on July 17.
