Returning lettermen: Sergio Mata, Zack Keller, Caleb Matheny, Brock Goris, Kaleb O'Brien, Manny Carrillo, TJ Jacobs and Timo Anderson.
Coach's comment: "I really like this team, The team is young. They are focused to improve and succeed throughout the entire season. The coaching staff has been very fortunate having our senior leaders in the wrestling room. These young men have embraced the coaching staff change and have been real mentors to the underclassmen. Leadership is our strength. It will migrate down to the underclassmen and will give the belief needed to win matches."

NORTHERN
BUCKEYE CONFERENCE
EASTWOOD
Coach: Joe Wyant, fifth season at Eastwood.
2012-13 finish: Second on in the NBC.
Returning lettermen: Eli Brown, Mat Drown, Hunter Sutton, Andrew Davis, Mitchell Sutton, Michael Glaze and Trevor Shultz.
Coach's comment: "This is a rebuilding year. We lost five very good seniors who won 224 matches last year. We are a very young team. We have 20 wrestlers out, with two seniors, and 18 freshmen and sophomores. We could start five sophomores, seven freshmen with the two seniors. We will have growing pains, but our goal will be to improve and be much better by the end of the season."

ELMWOOD
Coach: David Lee, 25th season.
2012-13 finish: Fifth in the NBC meet.
Returning lettermen: Jacob Wise, Kieran Adamski, Brik Dauterman, Dylan Hall, Dylan Benschoter, Mason Sibrel, Brandon Pennington, Kole Schultz, Noah Corral, Zach Baker, Nate Ramsey, Jake Hagemyer and Devin Uzelac.
Coach's comment: "We are young and inexperienced, but we will surprise some people in and out of the NBC. We could have a few more forfeits than usual, so we will have to have more of our wrestlers going for pins. We will have a good senior class when it comes to leaders and our coaching staff is outstanding. We're looking forward to a season of growth on and off the mat."

LAKE
Coach: Tom Jackson, 14th season.
2012-13 finish: Fourth in the NBC  meet.
Returning lettermen: Damon Keister, Willy Hall, Matt Church, Marcel Bryan, Robert Cruz and Damon Plummer.
Coach's comment: "We lost some wrestlers last year to graduation who were key to our success. We do, however, have five returning district qualifiers and some talented young wrestlers who will hopefully make an impact this season. The strengths in our lineup should be the lower weights and the upper-middle weights where we have our more experienced wrestlers returning. The key for the season's success as a team will lie in those questionable areas where we have some younger guys with a lot of potential, but haven't yet had a full, successful season."

OTSEGO
Coach: Joe Gerwin, third season.
2012-13 finish: Sixth in the NBC.
Returning lettermen: Austin Jacobs, Buddy Limes, Caleb Baus, Trenton Soto, Austin Glosser, Riley Tercha, David Glenn, Jordan Hendrix, Collin Kitchen and Mike Hoiles.
Coach's comment: "This year, we have almost all of our team back. We hope to build on the successes of last year which included sending send wrestlers to districts and one wrestler to state. The key is staying healthy, working hard and having good grades academically. We hope to overcome our struggles at the league meet last year by placing in the top three this year. Overall, we have a solid group of guys who stick together and have high goals that they are constantly working to achieve. They are a very fun group to coach."

ROSSFORD
Coach: Randy Hussar, first season.
2012-13 finish: Seventh in the NBC.
Returning lettermen: Spencer Shultz, Evan Austin, Andrew Myers, Casey Orr, Jake Burlage, Dallas Johnson, Christian Goldsmith and CJ Ball.
Coach's comment: "Our goal is to place in the top three in the league. We have returning seniors setting the pace in the room. This year, as a team, we will focus on a more fast-paced aggressive style. I expect great things out of all of our returning lettermen and there will be some surprises with our younger wrestlers."

LAKOTA
Coach: Rick Whetsel, ninth season.
2012-13 finish:  Sixth in the MAL.
Returning lettermen: Dakota Kroeger, Jordan Jaso, Jared Wolph, Bobby Arriaga and Cody Carver.
Coach's comment: "We have two district qualifiers back (Jaso, Arriaga). We have good experience coming back awe have four very good freshmen out this year. Not filling a couple of weight classes will be the biggest setback. Our goal is to place higher in every tournament we are in and compete for the league championship."

ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
NORTHWOOD

All three of my returning letterman are starting to prove day by day that they belong down at (state). I also have four hard-working freshman, who are  making our room tough.
