Bowling Green's girls won four events Friday on the way to a third-place finish in the Bobcat Invitational track and field meet.
The Bobcats had 84 points in the eight-team meet to trail Napoleon with 118.5 and Fremont Ross with 102. Lake was sixth with 48.
BG's Maria Horrigan won the pole vault with a meet-record height of 11-0.
Sasha Lanning (1,600, 5:36.64) and Kyrha Hollins (high jump, 4-10) were BG's other individual winners.
The Bobcats' 800 relay team of Hollins, Jessi Patton, Brittany Lowe and Horrigan won in 1:52.76.
Lake had four second-place finishes - Shelby Zemenski (400, 64.84); the 400 relay team of Rebecca Boos, Ashley Timmons, Jordyn Taylor and Nicole Pennington, 53.66); Boos (200, 28.28); and Timmons (long jump, 15- 1/2 ).
In the boys meet, BG and Lake tied for seventh with 26 points.
BG had three third-place finishes - Sam Panter in the 110 hurdles (16.67) and the 300 hurdles (44.2); and the 3,200 relay team of Lucas Overmyer, Codie Garza, Jared Kobylski and Phillip Zamarripa (9:06.46).
Lake's Tyler Rickman finished second in the 3,200 (10:05.72).
